Can you share you're settings for salary for the 10 and 20 year rebuilds. Everytime I do one, everyone comes out wanting 60 to 70 million just 6 or 7 years down the road

Matt, get the first 5 picks of the draft or get alteast 5 first round picks via trade on your team and start the rebuild with them. Also you need to start all of them at the same time and try to win back to back championship. It is more like a FAB FIVE CHALLENGE
*And for an extra challenge use the LA lakers because they have the fewest assets and draft picks remaining in the league.

Honestly the Lakers would be an easy team to do. You have LeBron and AD which you could use to get 2 draft picks that you know will be bad, as well as other assets from both. Also 2k values Melo, Howard and Russ all pretty good. You could get the other 3 draft picks right there. I would shoot for the Lakers pick back since you are trading everyone away. The Thunder, Magic, Wizards and Spurs or Rockets
Then if you do get all top 5, the team could look like Ivey, Sharpe, Smith Jr, Banchero, Holmgren.

you really don’t need to play every rookie you draft especially on contending teams cuz it just makes the team worse and takes minutes away from real bench pieces even if it’s just like 6 minutes. G-league progresses them more despite the morale stuff.
Good rebuild. I'm always intrigued with a Bucks rebuild since they always have it rough in the sim since the regression be hitting them hard even with Giannis putting up elite numbers. I just had to laugh when the Hornets won in the 2nd to last year I'm like damn Jrue gets another ring after you traded him to Charlotte LOL!! Nice that the final season had you attempt to get revenge against them. Always love when storylines unexpectedly presents itself.
I loved the Dejounte Murray signing. He fits the Bucks identity too for PG and pairing him with Giannis is like a perfect match. I always try and clear cap space in 2024 so I can possibly sign him. I had him on the Knicks and he was 2nd in MVP voting. Feel like 2K robbed him because he led us to first in the East and without signing him we wouldn't have gone anywhere. But that's 2K, they don't take into consideration all the other factors like in real life lol. He's fun to play as when you hop in too. I never gotten him before but man was I blown away how fluid he is on the court bringing the ball up and when attacking the rim. Don't even get me started when he's playing defense. He's a BEAST on that end!!
I like some of the trades on here, and concerning getting mo Bamba, getting Beauchamp and getting the wing from the Spurs Murray

Have you tried searching for 2K share scenario? Look to see if someone did a draft lottery and the draft order will be accurate to real life. That's what I did and I actually been pretty lucky that my game hasn't crashed on the 12th day of free agency. Currently in the 24-25 season of my recent franchise save and it's been fun. Hope it keeps up without any issues 🤞🏾

i literally did a bucks rebuild just for fun a couple days ago but i started back at the beginning of the 2022 season and won 6 championships (back to back)

Idk if anyone else noticed this but in 2k when you add minutes the coach changes it no matter what based on position needs so he can go through and give all these guys minutes but unless he adjust minutes manually through the screen that shows the color coated positions then he’s not getting true minutes.

I think the reason 2K let you re-sign Middleton is cause you forfeit bird rights by renouncing him but you maintain early bird rights? Those allow you to re-sign your own player for up to 175% of the player's previous salary or 105% of the league average salary, whichever is higher.
I don't think this is how it works IRL but 2K doesn't understand the CBA so this is what happens lol

@@ChattGM it honestly depends on the roster make up . But a realistic roster , only steph Klay and Poole should be over 70 . Everybody else can be 70 or lower so they don’t jack up bad shots
