In a few videos I know you’ve been confused as to why some lower overalls start over better players… Basically they tend to start players who fit the Coach’s system better. In your Cavs rebuild TJ McConnell suited JB Biggerstaff’s defence system over Sexton for example. Hope this helps, you’re the GOAT 🐐
No offense but how do you not know that when you "let 2k come up with the rotation" its a direct effect of coach preferences lol. If you go to the right you see the coachs gameplan for how many players in rotation (10 or 9 etc)
That’s such a bad rebuild what you on about. Trading the splash bros is blasphemous to our franchise, especially when they made us relevant after years of being obsolete in the nba.
I went to the same middle school as Ausar and Amen Thompson before they moved to Florida I believe. I came the year after they left but they would still come back during some breaks to practice with us. We would run some scrimmages with them. They were pretty cool and I hope the best for them.
Matt you're complaining about being bounced early, and 2ks sim is partial to blame most likely, but the teams you built in this rebuild haven't been great, you need 2-3 90s to win championships in 2k and referring to real life, that makes sense
Yes he always just draft a lot of young guys who arrived with less than an 80 overall and for a bunch of years his teams are always 6 or 7 pretty young players with 85 or less overall, which of course is not letting him win and also is pretty unrealistic since championship contenders always have consolidated players and key veterans
You shouldnt trade the big 3 just take their minutes away outta respect. Its unrealistic too. You should have drafted forwards and bigs or just the most valuavle players available 1st. Once steph, klay and dray are washed, you start drafting wings and guards, or trading for them with their high value prospects.
Think about it this way, if your drop KD shot tendency then you're indirectly affecting how good he is because he will take less shots meaning others will take more.... Changing shot tendency is indirectly improving the player
Matt you have to shorten the rotation my man when in a win or go home situation u gotta shorten it to 9 or even 8 man it really helps it’s not unrealistic bc coaches do it all the time play ur best players all the minutes
Can anyone explain the mentor part he was doing in start of video? Does that make then get those badges that he put on them in the next season? Or how does it work?
PLEEAASSEE BUCKS NEXT. It’ll be very interesting to see where the team is after 10 years considering the small amount of draft picks and how giannis turns out
I think you should try and switch up the sim sliders to make it a bit more challenging and realistic. Let's be honest in a lot of your rebuilds your teams outperform where they should be a wide margin. I think by switching the sim difficulty and trade difficultly sliders it could help with this. Also, I think you should adjust the success rate of certain shots because if you look at the league there tends to be a plethora of players that shoot 50/40/90 or in that range, and thats not realistic. Someone like Steph who is probably the greatest shooter of all time has a career average of 47/43/90, so there shouldn't be many, if any, players shooting much better than that (unless it is someone like Giannis or Zion who shoot mostly from the inside).
If you give a player an offer, even if it says they decline it, it will still be there. And then they sometimes will take it later in FA if they do not get signed by anyone else. Good way to get some Veteran mins
2k is rough this year, as far as winning championships go. Guys don't progress like they used to, kinda swung in the opposite direction tbh. But I think it might be a positive thing in the long run. Just gotta adjust expectations and take the small W's.
Out of position challenge Rules - player has to start as 75 and under -player has to switch positions by at least two positions PG -SF , SG-PF, C-SF can go up in two or down . -send player to summer camps to try and eventually make the player to 99 at there new position . Good luck
Please do a bucks 10 years rebuild this year because it would be hard with Holiday and Middleton being old and having large contracts and also less picks
Also I think the problem with the team was the lack of defence the reason no one is scoring above 20 is because they are all scorers get some defensive players like John issac and issac okoro as examples to let ur star players like Tatum shine to much scoring on the team
In your rotation you had 4 SFs hence the fact no one averaged more than 20ppg and the minutes you allocated were probably crooked somehow (Tatum averaging 14 shots on around 30 minutes). You need to change the positions and put more minutes on your stars in case the game fucks up. That's probably why you were losing so much playoff series as well as the fact that rotations were too deep (8 man is enough in the playoffs)
I think you should have traded Moody, Kuminga and Wiseman for a star cuz it would be more realistic to go all in for one more championship with the core. Then tank and start rebuilding. I know in 10 years the "rebuild" part of the plan would be nowhere near a championship team but it would be more realistic this way.
Players always score less on your team than they do a cpu team. Least they do for me, been that way since at least 2k16. Every once in a while someone will average 25+ but you basically have to make your team all about one player. 35+ minutes, shoot at will, 99 shot tendency, play through star, run in transition defensive rebound. All of that for one player. So I just quit trying to push them to score more.
I think you're a successful rebuilder, but there was a time when you didn't adjust tendencies. I enjoyed your content a little more when you accepted 2k's mistakes as a challenge such as we do, rather than change the tendencies of your user team only. If you had a roster where the tendencies were changed before the rebuild started, that would be different. More time consuming as a setup, but raise the quality of your content overall.
No offence bro but you go against everything you say in the first half of the video with Curry and Jordan Poole. I think with these 10 year rebuilds they gotta be a bit more realistic since it’s 10 years. Like trading Curry?!?? You gotta make him first scoring option and have him control the ball. Your just going the young route because 2K loves all the rookies and they have so much value. Stick with ya team!!!!
Why do you play your bench so much? Seems like in previous 2ks you didn't used to do this and gave starts more like 34-36 minutes. Also I think 2ks simulation is fine, when you're that far in the future everybody is soooo good so upsets happen.
i don’t understand why he always loses w these teams lol. i do my own rebuilds like this in my spare time for fun nd i always end up winning just 3 peated w the clippers. kawhi, ben simmons, christian wood, collin sexton super team no cheats lol
Trust me most of us don’t mind you changing the shot tend, makes it more realistic
Yh it’s just changing how often u want each player in ur system to shoot

This is amazing. Hopefully he does it
Unfortunately this won’t happen
Bruh I could see kot4q do this
Give this to Kenny and he might do this

Literally checked your feed a few nights ago, thinking about when you'd do another Warriors vid, and here it is lol.

Matt liked my tweet today and I feel like god
@Can Lightning McQueen get 1k subs? thank you my brutha

No more training camps was a good decision. Untapped potential was too op
Forces you to use the in season training it's really expansive I made Ben Simmons into a goat three pointer shower in 4 years
To be fair to Time Lord, Iggy won FMVP just from his defense effort against LeBron in 2015
You love to see it!
Maybe if you played your superstars 40+ minutes in the playoffs and not the 75 overall guys you’d win more
he’s definitely doing the pistons next 😉
You seriously undervalue your last bench spot. Try increasing the quality player and see what happens.
Needed this

Need a 10 year Magic rebuild

PLEEAASSEE BUCKS NEXT. It’ll be very interesting to see where the team is after 10 years considering the small amount of draft picks and how giannis turns out
I really didn't like this warriors rebuild
you should do a wizards rebuild, they are super interesting to rebuild
Should’ve been raptors 😔
Your the gm/coach your job is to tell them how much to shoot so it doesn’t matter if u change shot tendency for your players
I know I’m not the only one who saw the knicks win as the 8 seed multiple times

Curry a lifer yu Neva trade them kinda guys away
