    Beautiful video! I was looking for a nice blazer pattern and you really made me want to do this one :)
    I think what happened with your sleeve is that the sleeve cap is usually longer than the armhole so it fits better (it's usually a sign that the pattern is well drafted ;). It's a bit tedious to ease the extra length in but so much more comfortable to wear!
    Keep up the great work! x

    Thank you for the video! It’s a beautiful video. I’m exploring blazer patterns as I’ve never done one before. Were you happy with the overall look? Will you make it again the same? Were you happy with the sleeve? It looked a bit puffy. Sorry so many questions!

    • @CoolStitches
      @CoolStitches  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I liked the pattern and the instructions where super easy to follow! next time if i were to make a blazer I'd like to give something more oversized a go. just because i think i'd wear it more than one has fitted as the one in the video! I'd also love to learn more about tailoring techniques since i feel like this pattern didnt't really go into it.

    Wow. You have quite the fabric collection, if I’m being honest, I’m quite jealous really. I was about to go blindly make myself an oversized suit jacket and came across this. Your style looks so cozy and peaceful. I’m hoping to take another trip to my local fabric store because I know I’m gonna need more fabric, I was just going to look at my small fabric collection and pick a lining for it, I was thinking burnt orange but my style is more chocolate browns and blacks. I’m going for that Snape kind of style. 😅 I just want to know if you have any suggestions for a first time sewing one? I wasn’t planning on making pockets just to make my life easier.

    Because of this video, I'm about to embark on my first blazer sewing journey as well, using the same pattern! Just a small q, when picking sizes, were you in between sizes? And/or did you wind up sizing down?
