Michael Nielsen is sound, production God....and amazing guitar player! Man is born for music...lucky for us! I order Kemper profiles from this man..and is best on the world!!! 🙏🎸
Thanks Michael for show us your amazing studio.......when a review of your guitars? The red Friedman vintage tele p90 and Cali are my dream guitars......Cheers
So cool. Tons and tons of cool gear but the thing that stood out to me the most was that Arrakis poster! I think I need one of those in my home studio!
Thanks for taking the time to do this. I found it super informative and just awesome. One day I hope to have a similar setup. Only bad thing is now I have my eye on a lot of new gear :( Nice knowing you savings account....
Awesome setup! It's interesting seeing how folks in different areas of music design their work spaces and I always love checking out gear. Me being a synth head I have a couple of spaces and filled with synths so this setup is cool to me because of how different it is!
Hey Michael! Thank you for doing the studio tour! I've been hoping you would show us around your place! I remember you did a tour a while back, but didn't get to see to full tour of your studio. That has got to be the nicest studio I've come across - absolutely beautiful, and everything accessible from one location. I would like a "time-out" in your studio for oh say about 2 years, just to get to play and fiddle with all of that insanely cool gear! Thanks again Michael - that was seriously impressive!!! 😉🤘
Damn...that was awesome!...never would have known, thank you for sharing Mike....id say your living the dream there brother....ya, looking forward to seeing the guitars!....absolutely been a sub a long time now man!....love tour channel
So, we’ve been seeing this little room full of gear and suddenly it transforms in a freaking awesome gigantic home studio? Loved it! Congrats Michael! Now you have to present us with only guitar gear!😁🤘🔥
My wife walked in on me watching this video, turned around, and walked out of the room muttering “Oh, for Christ’s Sake!” Looks like I’m not getting a new studio like yours 🤣
If I could build my happy place, it would be exactly this. Awesome space and great gear, love the Antelope/Apogee combo. Most of all, love the videos, love the channel and love the studio.
Awesome video. Thanks for the tour. You need to use that Duellist for more than a handle to move your pedalboard! Of all the pedals I own it’s my favorite. Use it with a clean tone to get an amazing blues tone, and the left side, the Blues Breaker side, sounds incredible into a high gain amp.
Great video Michael. Thanks for taking the time to add the story and importance of each piece of gear to your sound. now, where did I put that trust $ fund ...
👍🏻 Very cool set up! Would love to see what you got under the hood computer wise. DAWs/ Plug-ins/Virtual Instruments/Mac horse power/ more in depth on Interfaces, drives etc
I used to have a similar setup, but it was a Pignose amp mic’d up with a Sure SM-57 in a iso cab (a large boots shoebox) running into a Tascam Portastudio cassette tape 4 track🤪
Wow this is such a cool studio! I’m really happy for you and your partner’s business ! One thing I admire about these videos is how clean your studio is. It’s part of why your videos are so pleasant to watch. P.S. Trackballs are awesome! P.P.S. 1:01 I had to rewind to see that awesome Dune poster! I’m proud of myself that it caught my eye and that I remembered what Arrakkis is :) (I haven’t read that since 1997 haha)
Awesome! Question about the cab with greenback and v30 mix. How's the balance? The v30 doesn't drown out the g12m? I guess since they're micd it doesn't matter and you can choose one or the other or a blend. But in the room how is it? I have a 212 I'm considering doing that combo.
Awesome! I (think) I've watched or went back and watched them all. You're a TH-cam pokemon. Anyway, I'd really be interested to see your composition process with software included, please. If you're into it. Thanks so much for a fantastic channel, I really look forward to every post.
It's amazing a full studio setup. When You show The computer room i feel when You openet a big meat refrigerator and takes all the rocketlounch control jejejejje.
Not sure if you have done the demo of the Rockmod I preamp and I've missed it, but if you haven't yet, it would be so awesome to see that baby in action :)
Awesome!!! If you ever need someone to come over and play through that Duellist, hit me up! Also, I think I need one of those dead Dodger fan guys. It reminds me of my dad. He refuses to watch this year because of the DH. 😩 ☠️⚾️☠️
I have a small pedal board, but my EP Booster is absolutely my favorite pedal I've ever owned! I've bought, sold. Traded, had modded A lot of pedals over the years, and the EP booster...my guitar just doesn't sound right without it on, regardless of my amp or guitar I'm playing!
Everyone else - home studio
Mike - studio home
hahahaaa i agree
hahahahhahaa
Well, it's about time! Loved it,annnndddd now we need an amp and guitar video.
cool indeed
I love how you own every preamp a guitarist would ever need!!! 👦🏻
That is one bad ass studio. I love the roll out amp heads. Very creative.
Happy for you Michael! Keep sharing your talent with the world. You are one of the few who truly found your niche in life. Stay blessed!

Excellent video, thanks for covering the walls in depth and showing the drawings for the layouts.
Would really enjoy and appreciate any videos on lessons about motion picture, video game movie composing!
This.
How about a proper course?
He just gave us the lesson. Spend money, use your gear.
Woooooow. Wow! This is a dream workshop! You should be very proud, man. This was amazing! Thanks!
You're an inspiration, man. Your studio is truly an extension of your personality- cultivated with real love and care.
I love that you're throwing in more humour and showing more of your wacky personality. Keep up the good work!

Nice studio! Would like to know how you got to where you are. Any chance of doing a video about how you made your career in this business? Thanks!

BOGNER FISH!!!!! Of all the rad gear you have, that's THE piece of gear I've always wanted.
Dud your place is amazing. It's got a mid century modern vibe that is just killer.
Awesome setup. I noticed the ENGL E530 in your rack. A video on that unit would be cool. You always have such great sound production. !!
Simply awesome !!! I’m huge fan! Cheers from Brazil !

Would be interested in learning how exactly the outboard gear and Apogees are connected.
What an awesome studio!
Purposeful and random. Amazing.

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Not sure if you have done the demo of the Rockmod I preamp and I've missed it, but if you haven't yet, it would be so awesome to see that baby in action :)
Can you do a video on all the guitars and what ones are most useful in your field for layering and such?
Great video. Great commentary. New fan! Would be awesome to see a breakdown of some of your work! Keep 'em coming!
Kickass Video Michael!
Awesome man!!
Arturia just released a 609 Comp plugin that is pretty great. It would be awesome to see you shoot it out with the real thing
This is an incredible studio.
Awesome!!! If you ever need someone to come over and play through that Duellist, hit me up! Also, I think I need one of those dead Dodger fan guys. It reminds me of my dad. He refuses to watch this year because of the DH. 😩 ☠️⚾️☠️
Hi Buddy! I'm still watching but it's not really the same. I'm sure playoffs will be little more interesting. Love your road trip videos!!!
Love your set up! Not to mention you do great work! I'm hoping I have a "spill over" rack like you someday...hehe..right now its just 1 SPX 90😂
Nice studio Mike! More on your amps and guitars,!

Pretty cool studio, a little jealous
OK, all right, now you gotta shoot an IR pack of the new cab...you damn well know it must be done, sir. Regards.
Awesome! Would love to know if you are blending mics, like the r121 with the 57?
Man, I’d love to get the exact measurement of where you like that 57 mic on that Marshall !
Its placed exactly where it sounds good. YMMV.
This must be what heaven looks like!!! 😇😁😁😁
very classy job.. you must have worked on some pretty successful projects.. anything we would know?
Incredible setup Michael! I’d love to know about specific favorite vocal and guitar mics, as well as most use signal chain plug ins. Thanks!
