I love how these fangames show us an earlier, saner version of flowery. It's such a weird bittersweet feeling: seeing him show kindness to others while knowing what he will eventually become
Yea, it's one of the things I wrote in my comment, I really like that version of Flowey

ChefUTG3 I don’t think that’s how it works, when we reset we get back to the very first time we save not to the place where we saved last time, the same thing with flowey.
When they reset they will be able to get back to when they were trying to kill themselves the first time (the very first save for flowey). Though, we can get back to the last save so maybe flowey can get to the first and last save (if we quit the game), so flowey might be able to load any save he wants which will make more sense. It also happens when he gets his save power back from us at the end of neutral ending.
In short, if the humans fall to the underground when flowey was there. Flowey could reset to the very start and wait for the humans to fall then kill them or reset to when they fall.
If this ends up becoming the same quality as Yellow... we are in for a treat

honestly, the games seems almost exactly like yellow to be honest, and i'm not sure if this game took *heavy* inspiration for UT yellow, or the yellow took inspiration from this, but it's similar to the point of more than coincidence. here's a list:
1. the main character falls down into a lower, unexplored, darker part of the ruins through a faulty puzzle
2. the main boss of that area is scared of humans and runs away from the protagonist multiple times
3. after sparing them they invite you over to their house, similar in style to toriel's house, and let's you chill there.

@@OdaxOficialbueno el está diciendo que no sabe bien si este fangame esta fuertemente inspirado en UT yellow o al revés pero una cosa es verdad si tienen algunas similitudes aunque discrepo,aca hay una que otra cosa interesante como esa sección a oscuras,aunque pa variar el gameplay le hubieran dado una forma única de guardado a el alma morada la verdad si queda bien en UT yellow que guardes con flowey por como esta explicado en la ruta neutral,pero en UT purple pudieron hacer que su libro le de conocimiento y puedas guardar en lugares específicos por ejemplo "Estas ruinas estan llenas de misterio,revelarlos te llena de CONOCIMIENTO" y pum guardas sin reutilizar el pixel amarillo de guardado🗿

I like how similar the purple and yellow fangames are, you fall in a deeper part of the ruins meet flowey he saves for you and we meet a quiet guy in a cloak running away from us.

Small detail, in OG UT Toriel has her robe. In Yellow, she has the robe and a cape. Here, she has a dress and a flower in her hair.
It's like the longer she lived alone in the ruins, the less she cared about her appearance until she basically just started wearing what was the most comfortable.

You know that undertale fan game that is based on a different human soul color, where you wake up in the ruins and fight a enemy right where flowery is and then you meet Toriel but she’s in a different outfit then she guides you through the ruins, but then you try to solve a puzzle, but then you fall through the floor then, you end up in a dark version of the ruins and then you meet a nice version of flowey then you go through the darker ruins and meet a unexpected character while just walking and then you keep finding them around and then you have like a mini boss fight and then after that you fight them and then you go to Snowdin but it looks like a different path of Snowdin. you know… that game?

When hearing the first text string: the ol switcharoo I always say
This game looks nice, so does the other fangames of other humans
the music sounds like undertale yet different enough to feel like a different story, there are nice textures and I really like the stories
The name Batty reminds of the name of the FEAR souled person though...
The game also represents Flowey in a nice way, as he still hasn't became bored and murderous
The puzzles are also not too hard but still nice, and not the easiest
The undertale green fangame also had nice minigames, so that one I like even more
I think the person at 40:59 is the vampire from undertale yellow

I'd say Artentide is nothing like Dalv in terms of personalitys as Arentide is feared by humans while Dalv purely wants to be alone.
SSJCrafter Id say one big plot hole in those fan games is flowey, from what I understand Alphys created it after all seven humans fall to the underground (including Chara). This is because it wouldn’t make sense if the humans fall when flowey was there, because when flowey gets bored they could reset and get to the time where a human was there and killed them.

@@norbivans9939 The UTY is not involved in this project so they Purrsum wouldn't incorporate him without their permission. That's actually a completely new character for Undertale Purple known as Zodil but not much is known about him yet.
I love the detail that the reason Perserversnce soul was looking for gems is bc she was nerdy, I mean she had the cloudy glasses and literature journal so she was probably doing it for a science project or something.
I love how Flowey's new theme has the "His Theme" leitmotif in it.
also I find it very strange that he basically never shows up after this. it's probably to avoid seeming too similar to Undertale Yellow, and he's almost definitely going to show up later, but it still feels weird.

After playing Undertale Yellow, I was looking forward to the idea of Undertale Purple (even though the game referenced the Blue Soul a lot) so I’m glad this is in the works. See y’all in 7 years if this eventually releases into a full game

With Merg playing Subnautica, Ori, and Undertale fangames all at the same time, I almost don't have the heart to tell him he should play Rain World.
I think fan games are just to have a rest after doing and preparing all the subnautica ep. cause ori isn't gona turn a series (my point) and subnautica is not going to take that long. Like, in April or May that is going to end and then cherry makes the game you want

I actually had a head cannon for how the purple soul would look. Her name was just purple, I didn’t know what to call her. This interpretation is really similar to the one I imagined.
