ღ Today i will be showing u how to set up reaction roles using mimu. It's easy and fast to set up. So make sure to use the correct commands.

do yk how to make the bot take away the role after re clicking the emoji? for some reason after i click a different emoji the bot doesnt take the previous role away i have to manually change it.
how do i fix 'The bot permissions has been incorrectly set up on this server for it to run this command: Missing Access' when typing the role menu command

Hi!! So I followed ur tut and I've been having problems after the making of the roles.
So I used my alt acc to test them and whenever I tap a role I get it but then when I tap remove it the role still shows up on my profile. Is that meant to be there? And is there a way to remove it?
The owner can only remove by the role thingy, i think theres no way to remove it-
How do you get the “Copy ID” button?? it wont show up for me on either pc nor ipad 4:48
Go to your discord settings and scroll down until you see “advanced”
Press it and then press the button on the right side of the option that says “developer mode”
did it step by step, and when I go to activate roles on an alt account it takes it away, no matter what I click
Hi I've been having hard time with when you type "/rolemenu create "the message disappears and when i try it again it says that message already has one but I have no way of adding the emojis
youve probs solved it by now but make sure that the bot has access to the server, full access to message and stuff. i had the same issue bc i made my roles channel everyone unable to message

make sure the bot has full access to the server, messages allowed needs to be on! (i had the same issue lol)
It wont give the roles. I tested it on an alt and when you react- you don't get the role?-

I believe it means the bot doesn’t have permission to create those roles ?
You have to mess up with the Mimu bot permission so it have access to everything
@@kazu_kaz what does it mean to give mimu bot access to everything? I've allowed it all perms, but it still doesn't work.
edit: nvm it works, if you're doing ur commands in a private channel make sure to allow all your bots inside.

Hi you need to copy the message id and then add that in the bot reply
@@Pinky8000i had this same thing happen to me, but my discord doesn’t give the option to copy the message ID. Only the message link, which doesn’t work😓😭
@@s.ybean_ you have to turn developers mode on in your settings if you want to copy id
Hey uhm my thing keeps saying “the bot was not able to perform thenacrion, discord responsed with: Unknown message. Please be sure you ran the command in the same channel as the message” but i am running it in the same channel

When you make roles press on display separately and that's how it gets separate from online members

you can update it in the rolemenu when you add the reaction role
I might be a little dumb- but how do you put your own emojis in the embeds, like I'll try to put it in but it will just show it's name
Hi if you have the emotes in your server it shouldn't be a problem but if you're using emotes from a different server make sure that they are not private
could someone help? it says "cat's cottage(the name): pink beans(role): This self assignable role has been configured to require another role by the server admins." idk how to fix it, i tried to do it with other role but it doesnt wants to

Hey, great tutorial! But I'm having an issue, everytime I try creating a new rolemenu it always says that I already have a menu on the message and tells me I need to update it. I'm confused on what I did wrong :(

Hi try using different emojis and see if it works if not let me know so I can see what the problem is by testing it

Try re adding the roles in the yagpdb bot
The yagpdb bot says that "it hasn't got permission to make a rolemenu" when it does
Is it possible that, you need a certain of invites in order to get the role?
No you don't need a certain amount of invites

@@angela_Rockz if you're on phone it won't show the colors. Just the name. If you're are on PC or a laptop you will be able to see the colors in it too
@@Pinky8000 I’m on pc but it’s not showing the colors. It’s supposed to be like highlighted but for it doesn’t :( just looks like Normal text

Which bot won't let you edit the description?
you need to write
" embed edit description embed: (the embed you want to put) description: (copy and paste description you want to put ) "
then put the / in front of the msg.

When you made the group did you add the roles and names in the group?

Just type /embed edit description and put your new paragraph in it

Hi you have to turn on copy id in your settings
for the rolemenu create part it doesnt work for me it says ""Create" command returned an error: strconv.ParseInt: parsing "1134278793549332491-1144675836247683112": invalid syntax" why does it say that?
because u copied the message id, u need to turn on developer mode in advanced settings then go back and copy the id of the message it should say "copy id"
Hi! Thanks so much for making this video, it helped a lot, but I have one issue: When clicking on the embed, the ID doesn't pop up. How come? I did everything else right
You have to turn the copy ID option on in your settings. When you go to your settings look for advanced click on that and turn on developer mode

You have to go I your settings search for advanced and turn on developer mode after that you will be able to copy the id

If you don't have the animated emojis in your server it won't add them
You can remove the emojis after setting up the reactions

Make sure to turn on developer mode in your settings
I have a problem during the process, what does this sentence mean?
: This self assignable role has been configured to require another role by the server admins.
That means when you added the roles to the yagpdb bot you also added that the members should have a certain role to get the selfroles
That can be for example the members must have a verified role to equip the other roles
You lost me on the yagpdb I had no clue what you were doing bc yours looks different from mines😭
It worked fine, (ur ping) but then i had to change my emojis and now it wont make a new line. Yk like this

Did that for me too, go to your discord server > roles > move that bot above the other roles > boom! Hope this helps!

whenever im at the rolemenu create, it just says "The bot was not able to perform the action, Discord responded with: Unknown Message. Please be sure you ran the command in the same channel as the message." even though i did it in the same channel, does anyone know what could be the problem??
