/create embed is used to create an embed with mimu, and you're meant to type in the embed name there, not tag anything! or, are you talking about tagging roles in the embed after you've created it?

@@Bunnupy there are ways to do it using inspect on desktop, but you should probably search up a tutorial as it's quite complicated to explain (and maybe do) !
I found a way type /reactionroles add take the Carl bot option

you cannot have the same name for two embeds, so just choose a different name!

i made a role but when i tried to make another with the same name “reactionroles” it doesnt let me but if i use another name it also doesnt let me put the emojis for it on carlbot
you have to use different names if you're making more than one, otherwise it won't let you. that's strange, it should be letting you add emojis? :c
if i needed to make more embeds, do i just repeat the exact same process or do i have to do something else (like if i wanted another message for pronouns or gender)
if you want it in the same channel, you can use the same webhook; for a different channel, you have to make another webhook! the process is still the exact same, only the webhook url (on the website) will be changing!

what if you dont want to use emojis from the carls bot and you want to use emojis you made in your server for your reaction roles?
it should let you choose emotes from your own server too!
I’m confused on 8:40-8:43. How does the “DMs open” turn into all those characters when you say it must be in that format? & I’m on mobile
are you referring to the role id (the string of numbers) ? once you have your role id, insert it into the roles embed format, which is . it should look something like this once you put in the id:

at 10:04, it shows you how to set up reaction roles with any message using a message id! even if your photos aren't made with mimu, you can still use the same methods in the video 💕

Hii so when i do this everything worked but the colors of the roles i assigned dont show up on the embed. They just turn blue and have a underline like when you @ someone
the roles you want to add have color but they aren't showing up? try refreshing your discord and waiting a few minutes, it might just not be loading :)

sometimes it's a discord bug or network problem. have you asked anyone to test it out for you to see if the colors are there for them?

i do appreciate this tutorial but for some reason when i finish pressing create it doesn't create anything and my reactionrole dashboard continues to say "No matching records". I know im doing something wrong I'm just not sure what exactly. you should be able to select your server emotes on carl-bot's website for your reaction roles!

type a backslash \ and select your emoji, it should give you the emoji id (copy everything except the backslash)!! it should look something like this: (non-animated) || (animated)

if you double-checked that you did the same steps with your first embed for your second embed, it could be just a glitch. have you tried recreating the reaction roles on carl-bot's website?
@@ely. Yes I tried that, also just another random thing that might be related is that some of my roles weren’t showing so I just had to recreate the embed. That might be a issue but I did the same steps as the first one and the first one is working fine

double check that carl-bot's role is above all the roles you're trying to add, it can view your reaction roles channel, & has the permission to manage roles !

you can add nitro emotes to your server without nitro & you can use the non-animated ones *in the server*!

(yours will have different numbers and name)

you're not supposed to manually react to it ~ carl-bot should have the reactions automatically added for you ! if it isn't doing that, double check to see if carl-bot has the permission to view that channel, read message history, add reactions, and manage roles !

One of my roles show up as deleted role even though i didnt delete it, what could be the problem ??

are you referring to the carl-bot reactions or the roles in the mimu embed? if you mean the second one, make sure you're using the right format, which is ! it should look something like with the id added 💗
