These are the steps:

For the channel and msg:

I did it same what you said but only me can see welcome message no other user can't see :(

this video was really helpful but here’s a tip : when she types {embed:greet} for the greet part write what your embed name is.

@@Emilia-gw4xg When you create your embed (EX : i named mine hello) when you start typing the *set greet message* you are going to type {embed:hello}

I have a question. I followed the steps and it’s a great tutorial! Everything worlds fine and prestine! But when your making the embeds do they appear for other people? Because I ran the test and it had an orange background as if that meant others could see it right? But that didn’t happen to the /embeds so does that mean they can’t see that?
I don't think they can try remaking the embeds and see if it works

I did this and when I invited someone the message didn’t work and it didn’t end up in the welcome channel it went to the chat instead
so i followed all these steps and when i do the test it just says the welcome {user} i put the {embed:greet} at the end and i've even copied and pasted it just incase and it does not take that
what name did you give the embed?
I did embed greet while I named it something else..all this time.😥
ok so i did everything and made an image etc, but when i say test greet and when someone comes in my server it only shows the greet msg with is “hi!” and nothing else
Had the same problem, asked in the Mimu server
They said that this was happening cause I didn't attach my embed to the greet message
type /set messages greetmsg message:*your greet message* {embed:*whatever you called your embed*}
when i put the gif link in, it doesnt show the gif

guys i think it works on ipad/mobile more better bc when i did it on laptop i got the same issue and when i did it on my ipad it was fixed so yall should should mobile or ipad :>

@@anniedo6423 send i gif then right click of on laptop or tap it for some sec then u will see copy link media click that then do it
Try doing the code and things again! It worked for me. It may take time but at least it’s worth it❤

Before you download the picture tab on copy link and past that link
the "/set messages greetmsg" command does not exist.

Hello, when I do the /test greet, it doesn’t work, even if mimu have all permission.
@@Rutiz_ when you make the message make sure to add the embed in it too otherwise it won't show when you do the test
my thumbnail thing wouldnt load and I tired so many times i dont get how u did it because for me it just wont load and its been hours

when I do the /test greet it says it doesn’t work bc it doesn’t have permission to embed links or send messages, how do I change that?
Make sure to give the bot permissions to send links and stuff. You have to change the permissions of the role that the bot has

@@your_mina did you make a role for bots where you basically give them a lot of permission to do stuff. If yes then gibe mimu that role

Images and thumbnail doesn't work
idk it’s just me doing something wrong but when I put in /test greet, it only put Hi! {user}, not any of the other stuff I put edited and put in, and I checked all the other stuff and they were all how I wanted it and idk what I did wrong
You have to put Hi! {user} {embed:greet}

If you do have chrome hold the picture and press open picture. Then you know how you get a link? Press that a copy it. Hope this helps!
How you make the channels in blue highlight?
Just put # in front of the channel names when you make the embed
this helped, but whenever someone joins it also puts it in the general channel. Like, "Hello [user]! we hope you bought pizza."
Change the channel to your welcome channel.

question, if you do the commands in a different channel other than the welcome one will the mimu bot still use the welcome message in the correct channel?

every time i add emoji's from other servers to the embed description they just show up as :s_2: or whatever the emoji name is. They show up when im making the command but when i enter it they become the name and im not sure why i gave mimu full permissions and it just wont work!!!
try adding those emotes to ur server and then see if that works, i think that is why
but i tried to make the same exact welc message on my test server and the emojis worked??
Sometimes mimu doesn't except emotes from other servers when you make the embeds. So try adding the emotes to your server or add them in a test server and use them from there

how do you delete the thumbnail?
I tried joining my alt acc in my main server but there's no "Hi @username" and the embed that I created didn't show when I joined

Hii can someone help me please? 😭 when i was abt to test it a mssg popped up and it said 'Sorry, I don't seem to have access to type in the channel where you have greet messages set to Please make sure I have "Send Messages" and "Embed Links" permissions there.'
You have to give the bot perms to type in your greet channel otherwise the bot won't send the messages
