Caution with Miss Babs Katahdin, it bleeds a lot when wet blocking. I used a deep purple shade for a feather weight cardigan, even after three different washes it continued releasing color, it was sort of a headache the first wash, I used color catchers sheets but as of today I still have to be careful if I wear a light color top underneath because the cardigan transfer the color. Good luck!
If its still bleeding, you may want to set it in vinegar on the stove. It sounds scarier than it is, I promise. Though the first time I set a wool project that was knit I was so anxious it would felt or something. It didn't. I feel more confident now.
Love the colors you selected for your socks. Your background looks strange cause there's no yarn behind you. Praying that your move runs smoothly and is stress free. Safe travels to you, your family and pets (avoid all the bad weather especially the hurricane damage). I will be waiting on your return to your podcasts.

You never know what you'll feel like working on, so I agree, better safe than sorry. And I would definitely put the rest of the Dishie in with Eric! Is he driving all the pets to Ohio? I've only move to different apartments/houses, but all in the same city of my birth, and they were tough on me because I'm so disorganized. I love the channel, and am watching lots of your tutorials, now that I found you.
Don't forget that once you get there you may have a bit of time before you are settled in enough-so that project stash may come in handy for a couple of weeks!

Crazy Sock Lady unfortunately I have not been up there in a while and don’t remember it. It is about an hour north of where I am. After you get settled in, there are a lot of cool things in Cincinnati. I wish that I knew more about the Dayton area than I do.
Hope your flight with the boys goes without a hitch. I also hope Eric's drive with the furry family goes without incident. I hope the furry fam is used to riding in the car!!
