  • Welcome to my first video ever!
I’m really excited for this new adventure, and I hope you join me as we build up my 2007 FJ Cruiser using purchased parts on a real world budget. THEN we will use it to explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
On this channel, we will be building up this FJ using a real world budget, and then taking it out for some adventures!
In this episode we begin the 3” lift, change out the alternator to a slightly more powerful one (100 amp to 130 amp) and get ready to install the bumper.

Good shit man! I also own a black 07 (base model). I’m looking forward to more episodes in the series!

Great video, I also got an 07 voodoo blue FJ during quarantine and have had lots of fun building it up. Excited to watch you get all the mods on. Would appreciate any videos on electrical upgrades when you get to those (extra lights etc.)

I did some lighting, but it was very primitive and easy. I will gladly make a quick video of what I got and how I put it together.

Cool video. Found it from Reddit. I like the fact you used lube to take the bolts off. Good idea.

I saved myself wrenches, knuckle skin, and curse words lubing all those bolts before taking them off lol

Man I've always loved the FJ's.
I can appreciate the potential of a Jeep but it's the "Jeep crowd" that absolutely kills it for me.
Toyota crew seems to actually use the vehicles for their off-road potential (and know how to drive them).
(And shout-out to the Z-Creeper! Same stool we've been using inside our van for 1.5 years haha)
    Cheers!
