Here’s a good method for cleaning: If you can, use a snow foam pre-wash to loosen dirt and rinse. Autoglym to a 3 part contactless snow foam system, pre-wash, wash and rinse. For contact washing, use a good wash mitt, lambs wool wash mitts are great. 2 buckets with grit guard. One for washing one for rinsing. Wash top to bottom taking extra care on dirty bits. Separate mitts and buckets for wheels. Dry with compressed air or a plush microfibre towel
Devin I spent a ton getting my paint correction done and ceramic coat. My car is black too, I use a foam gun and then wash with 2 bucket method, 1 for soapy water and 1 for clean rinse water. Use grit catchers in each bucket biggest thing is the drying use a leaf blower. Been doing this for a year and a half and my sti still mint AF

I would recommend getting a good quality car soap with lots of slickness in it, i really like meguiars gold glass car wash it has plenty of slickness so you will do the least amount of scratching possible, another thing i recommend is using a 3 bucket method, one bucket for wheels one for the soap bucket that you will use for the paint and the last one is for rinsing out your wash mitt once i gets dirty, the last thing is to use a different towel/mitt for your wheels only and one for the paint because the brake dust that gets on the mitt/towel once you wipe it is tiny shards of metal and will scratch the hell out of your paint. Hopefully this helped.
Just sold my 05 last night and I’m very sad about it lol Didnt think it would bother me but after years of memories created in that car I miss it a lot. Now I’ll just have to watch your videos to cure my sadness lol
I use a leaf blower to dry my cars. It's even better when the car is ceramic coated water slides of easy. You will notice the paint last a lot longer without Swiss and scratches.
Please make a detail install on the grilles from eBay bc I had bought some and they weren’t a good fit so I made custom brackets I would like to see how you do it please ✌️sti is looking AWESOME 🔥 Hawkeyes are my favorite (I own a Wrx 06) 😎 you’re channel is the best and you give great info and tips thank you
Best thing to do is a touch less wash as frequently as you can and when it’s time to wash it for real do a touch less wash first then recoat it with foam and use 2 bucket method and make sure you keep the mit as clean as possible also only swipe in straight lines
Car is looking so fresh!! Awesome job bro, keep it going! PS, now that you have the OEM seats, can you let me know how does the car ride with the Raceland Ultimo coilovers? Looking at a set for my hawk but not sure on them yet!
