Looks really good grandpa. Suggestion: make your vise table the SAME height as your tablesaw. 1) Will work as an outfeed table. 2) when you need a little extra bench space you can use your tablesaw. Everything in my shop is based on my tablesaw height.
The sawdust thing has increasingly gotten on my nerves over the years! Even with dust collection, I find that everything is covered with an ever increasingly thick coating of dust. A few years ago I bought a mini metal lathe and mini metal milling machine to start doing some home machine shop projects in my retirement. I’ve built several kits by PM Research of operating stationary steam engines and machines, and have enjoyed the unexpected benefit of zero sawdust! The chips (swarf) are confined to a vey small area, but no dust whatsoever! Cleanup takes about 2 minutes with a small shop vac! My woodworking equipment sees less and less use now!
@MDLloyd yeah I know the feeling. That's about what I got in the corner of my garage, so it's nice to see someone else trying to make it work as well.

@@MDLloyd Thought it was about that size. Mine is 12'x16' outside. smaller inside of course. My problem is I love tools too much and have too many, so not NEARLY enough space. EVERYTHING is on wheels of course, and worst part is I do NOT have any space outside like you, so in reality you are MUCH bigger than me...I do plan to downsize a little, maybe get rid of my CNC setup, that would give me a little more than 4'x4' floor space.
Great Job Grandpa, time to dust off the fishing poles and spend a week end relaxing at the pond/lake/river.
Thanks! Yes, it's been a while since I wet a line.
Very nice!
Looking forward to seeing your approach to a router table. Nice work on your shop re-do.

Yes I did. I use the saw table as my bench most of the time. Thanks 👍
Nice job on this and edited well to fit it into a short period!
Thanks!
Always feels good after a purge and reorganizing. Yep sweet shop!
Thanks! It was a lot of work but very rewarding. Now if I could just stop buying tools. Haha
Very nice upgrade of a nice little shop.
Thanks 👍
Looks great, that transformation really opens up that space. It looked so small at the start and now looks much bigger.
I think so too! It's a pleasure to walk in there now. 😊
Very nice! Great little shop
Thanks! I'm loving it.
Looks great. Well done. Simple but functional
I appreciate that! I'm happy with the way it turned out

Love your shop
You did well, looks great ,fred nz
Thanks, Fred. It was a fun project.
Watching From Vancouver Island 🏝️🇨🇦👍
NICE!
Thanks!
Looks about the same size as my workshop. You could make a built in router table on the right wing of your table saw. That's what I did to save space.
That is my next project. :-)
@MDLloyd can't wait to see what you come up with.

I hear you! If I stay on it my allergies don't bug me too much but I live on Allegra anyway. haha
Did I hear that you know a Dave DeLauter?? Is this my cousin in Indiana??
Sorry this Dave lives in Fallbrook California
What is the dimensions of your shop ?
It's tight, 11'-2" x 11'-4"

Yeah it's tough to give up tools to gain space. Best of luck figuring it out. Seems to be a never-ending battle haha
