As you know I’m a huge fan of Milwaukee tools! I believe they rule the battery tool industry right now. About 20 years ago DeWalt ruled it with their 18 volt NiCad lineup of drills. I had all their stuff. The M12 series seems to be every bit as powerful as the 18 volt. I mean in torque at least. I have a pair of 12 volt cable cutters I use all the time and they slice right through 600 MCM copper no problem. I’ve got a couple M12 ratchets also. Don’t use them as much as I should though, not sure why! Great video!

When I was in the field I used Dewalt pretty exclusively. My dad always had the 14.4 stuff. I still have my 20v stuff. I use the 1/2 impact more than anything for wheels and blades. The 1/4 impact is more torquey than the M12 I’ve noticed. I hadn’t used the grinder, jig saw, and circular saw since last year! Think I used the saw zall like a month ago. In the shop I still think pneumatic is the way to go on some things.
