@@FMK1317 Yeah, that's the thing. People have seriously low expectations with animals so when they see certain behaviors, they make it out to be something much bigger than it is. This is just general creeping behavior seen in the wild a lot. There's a video of a lion slowly creeping on a sleeping lioness to attack her using stealth just like this. This does not take a human brain to do.

Lol. I love taking vids of almost everything around me where ever I am. So when things happen unexpectedly I tend to capture the moments. I guess that's what happened here. She probably has random or useless vids of her parrot

They do!! I have multiple birds and can confirm they love it when their humans are happy and laughing. One bonded to me actively acts goofy and tries to make me laugh if I'm sad, which she can always tell if I am lol

A lot of birds live just as long as dogs and a lot of them will actually live longer than a dog.
Some parrots will even out live a human. Crazy.

Like, bird seeds are terrible for birds.
Make sure you buy vitamins for them, I personally like nekton S. It had vitamin A which they need especially, and other vitamins like b,d etc.
Make sure you spend time with them and always leave there cage door open when you're home.
There amazing pets, but definitely time consuming too.

@@j.rjunior5584 dogs don’t live that long. Scarlet macaws alone live between 40-50 years on average. Dogs only live, like, 12. It’s not uncommon for cats to live longer then dogs, reaching an average lifespans of 20 yrs old. Seven small birds like the parakeet live to be 15 yrs old. And African grey parrots, HIGHLY intelligent birds, love between 40-80 yrs old. These animals are DEFINITELY not an “impulse buy”. No anima should ever be bought as an impulse buy, especially if you do not have the setup, the time, or the knowledge on caring for that type of animal. And these birds are literally the definition of a lifetime commitment 😂 and if u have these birds, you should probably have someone, like a family member or close friend, on hand to take the bird and care for it in case the bird outlives you instead of having the bird dropped off at an animal shelter or something.

A lot of birds have crazy personalities. It's what happens when you get a really intelligent pet, and treat it like part of your family.
Are you kidding? Parrots in general have quite the personalities. They are some of the most intelligent, adorable, mischievous and goofiest animals you'll ever come across.
they have the personalities, intelligence level/reasoning skills and emotional capacity of about a 4-5 year old child. people need to seriously understand this before getting one and leaving them in a cage 24/7, it's the same thing as locking up a kid all day

@Lylah Stein even the tiny birds have that level of intelligence. Like I have a budgie and he mostly learned how to swear, but he knows the context of it and says stuff like "shit" and "fuck" with perfect timing to get people to laugh

Shelby is absolutely amazing. I cried seeing this clip. It reminded me of my Bailey girl, B&G I raised from a hatchling egg, and was the light of my life. I don’t care what any expert says, the Macaws, B&G’s & Hyacinths, are the smartest parrots out of all the birds. They are so cunning and stealth when they need or want to be. Speak as clearly as any adult with an education & love to be snuggled. My Grey, yeah he’s awesome, but he’s not got the personality or loving nature that B&G’s possess. I can’t stop watching it, she lightly touches his leg, “I’m here”, heehhe😂😂😂!

The parrot lives without stress, happily, not being hunted and eating available quality food every day.
