Who’s going to see your shoes when your feet are spinning by! I don’t get why they’re called ugly, maybe compared to the (artificially shaped pointy narrow restrictive) regular cycling shoes that are equivalent of really nice dress shoes/heels that kill your feet but you only want to wear for an hour. I have foot problems tried on mx242’s and agree they feel incredible. I wasn’t riding much yet to justify the price but know which shoes I’m getting soon. (Lace up wide shoes with soft sides are ok for now but still not great). Similar to your customer, I’ve run in Altras too for similar reasons. There’s a couple other brands that have similar features/function. Key is to ditch Nike, they’re really a fashion brand for the masses.
I agree they’re not that bad. I sell a lot of the CX242. They get a mixed reaction when they look at them but when they try them on they realize that they are worth moving away from the conventional looking shoe to get the comfort they want. Thanks for watching.
Love my Lake shoes wouldn’t use another brand.. don’t worry Tailor The 242s look really nice 😊❤ happy Christmas George and Jess x.. 😊 Pete 🚴🏻👍🎄
@@n22pdf thanks Pete Merry Christmas to you and your family 🌲
Yeah, my Lake CX219 are the best cycling shoes ever for me :).
Another Lake fan!
My future road cycling shoe will be the Lake brand❤
And I would be honored to provide them to you 😊

Great video. I know there's a TON of people with the same problem that just deal with it or worse yet, get off the bike.
@@UnivegaSuperSport and it doesn’t have to be that way! A lot of people just don’t know these shoes exist.
