Just a suggestion…when I grease and flour my bundt pan, I grease it good then sprinkle some flour in, then cover with Press N Seal and shake the pan really good. Then remove the plastic wrap, remove any excess flour and add batter. This helps to make less of a flour mess.
I ordered Sunnyland Farms pecans last week when you recommended them. We usually eat Texas native pecans but the Georgia pecans have a sweeter flavor and the mammoth size is great to cook with. This morning I divided up my Home Box into 1 cup increments and Food Savered them. Most are in my big freezer now. I didn't know about refrigerating nuts either and my grandparents were peanut farmers.

The cake looks delicious. Be very careful when putting a hot cake on a glass cake stand. My cousin did that and cracked my grandmother's Fostoria American glass cake stand. Of course that wasn't as bad as when I was carrying mine in a basket out the front door and it took a header onto the concrete stoop and shattered into a million pieces!. Lost the cake and the cake stand. Live and learn!

I’ve used a mixer before on the beaten egg whites into the cake batter, it made no difference, I went low on the mixer speed, 2 cakes, one folded, one mixer, came out the same. It looks like you have plenty of pecans now.
