I have made 2 temperature blankets.
One for the year 2017 as a gift for my sister.
Another for my daughter's first year of life March 1, 1988-february 28, 1989. I did that in 2021

Love the content and your blanket is beautiful. 💕 I crochet and I’m planning one for my grandson’s first year so I know all the temps, the problem is that we live on opposite sides of the country, he’s in a warm climate and I’m in Upstate NY. Decisions, decisions, do I make one with my temps of minus to high 90’s, or his fairly bland (I’m jealous! 😂) 50’s to maybe 90’s. I need to graph it out to see how it would look. One blanket I saw used both temps for every day and the result was a beautiful curving line down the center with warm colors on one half and cooler colors on the other….so maybe that’s what I’ll do but with east coast colors/west colors. Anyway, thanks for your thoughts, and thank you for taking care of those in the hospital who are so ill. ❤️

The sound!! I am so glad you mentioned that because I’ve told people that before and they thought I was crazy. I love all these tips I’ve been wanting to do this project and I have never heard marking special days. I’m even more excited to start this project

Thank you so much for sharing with us. Your blanket is incredible- I especially love the story of what go you going to make one. I also adore how you decided to not only have a temperature blanket but to also include moods and special occasions. The message not to be afraid or too serious with this project is really powerful/inspiring. So thank you for a wonderful video!

I loved watching your video. I’m in the UK and planning a temperature blanket for next year. I love your ideas about incorporating significant dates and also snow. How many stitches did you use and was the yarn what we in the UK call ‘double knit’?

I used a worsted yarn- does that help?

I think a double knit is the equivalent
