You guys do such Beautiful work. I enjoy watching what you do and the end product. But you guys are building houses (per se) 99 % of people aren't and don't have a wood shop full of power tools. Again, tho, beautiful work😁
Thank you so much! Yes, we definitely slowly invested in tools so that we could do renovations because that’s our passion. We love just sharing the whole process, and we get lots of questions every day about how to do projects, so we share those too 🖤 You could do this with any space at all, you just have to find the joists first, and a nail gun and saw are usually pretty good “first tool” investments if people want to try :)
I just bought a house with a shiplap ceiling an their is no plastic behind it just insulation bats could this cause a problem?? i was wondering about that once i looked closely with a flash light I realized their is nothing behind it but insulation.
It really depends on the climates, I believe in colder areas it is recommended to have the vapour barrier in between your finished ceiling and insulation. In warmer climates it *may not* be required. That being said I would review it with a home inspector or a reputable local contractor and they can advise what is best for your area.
So beautiful!! I Love it!! 😍😍😍😍
