Sam was driving his built-overland Tacoma in Colorado back home from camping when he hit an ice patch on the road and slid off into a tree. Unfortunately, his spindle and gusset failed, causing his lower ball joint to also fail. This led to the brake line, ABS line, and axle all getting ripped out of place with his wheel, hub, and spindle. He was on the side of the road for something like 10 hours before the tow company got to him. I arrived maybe 10 minutes after them and after hours of fighting with roadside and insurance, we got loaded up and headed back to my shop for the night.
Also, you all need to ditch Statefarm and go Geico, Statefarm roadside is a JOKE.
