Reverse Bay Parking - Make Reversing Into A Bay Easier For You - 90 & 45

Reverse bay park is a manoeuvre that you learn when having your driving lessons, but its not just about getting into a parking space.
Where might you use this instead of a car park? how about a drive way?
Its not about getting in between the lines, its more about showing control of the vehicle and that you are aware of the safety of other road users when reversing.
It is important not to rely on the technology of the vehicle you are using such as reversing cameras (you can use them as a guide) but main observations to be obtained by looking around outside the vehicle.
Have you tried this manoeuvre in different cars and you just cannot get it correct even when lining up your "reference point"?
What if I told you "The Same Reference Point" doesn't work in all vehicles.
You need to try and make driving as simple as it can be for you and often, it is a case of trial and error of doing it in a way that feels right to you and is comfortable.
This video is a guide and for many of my students it works everytime, first try. It is perfectly fine for it to go wrong, aslong as you can fix it by being safe and continuing to look around. You can also choose your own bay, which means you do not have to park between other cars. Although parking between cars is actually much easier than parking in empty bays. Why do you think this is?
