Being from California, living where you are seems like an absolute dream. Don’t get me wrong there are parts of this area that are beautiful, and I would have a hard time leaving the Pacific Northwest, but there is something about the English countryside that calls to a part of my soul that must have lived there long ago.

I love yoga! I started in August 2023 because I had some physical issues. And it helps p me a lot! I can't live without practicing it! I practice yoga every morning before going to work!

Love the desk and it looks great in that space! Especially love that its a vintage, thrifted piece. I so enjoy thrifting and have found many antique and vintage treasures thru the years. I love how you explained that you are "giving it a new life"! It is a warm, sunny Spring day here in N. Kentucky. I have some windows open to let in the much needed fresh air! The birds are chirping and coming to feed in my feeders and even bathing and drinking in my bird bath. Its relaxing to listen and observe them. Your desk is beautiful! I too have the same exact style. Of all the desks I have had, this one is my favorite. The bottom drawer is my grandsons art work and drawing drawer. Here in PA spring is slowly approaching too. Yesterday got up to 62, and now rain the next few days. Thank you for reminding me to cultivate joy & peace in my life! Your family is beautiful!

Some of your words deeply resonate in me, like the fact that we often beat ourselves for something we have or have not said, that was typically me last night and here i am, with insomnia in the middle of the night because of it. I'll try to practice some of your advices , they seem like the right and natural thing to do but i really needed this gentle reminder to actually incorporate them into my daily life.
