Agreed 💯, so sick of people wanting Sam to either take the super serum or have some sort of super powers in order to be Capt America (a lot of it is just code for, we don't want a black man being Capt America), he's not Steve nor should he try to be, both Sam and Steve are cut from the same cloth when it comes to having a good heart and doing the right thing, Sam has Wakanda tech just like Tony had Stark tech, nobody ever wanted Natasha, Clint, or Tony to have super powers, everybody doesn't need to have them, it makes for so much more of an interesting storyline.
People who claim someone without the supersoldier serum can't be Captain America are totally missing the point of the character. Professor Erskine made it clear in the first Cap movie that Rogers was chosen first and foremost because of his character - having a straight moral compass, being brave and compassionate... those are the things that count. Sam fits that all perfectly well.

Everybody is saying that it's giving off winter soldier vibes and I agree 100%! Especially with the detail in that blue suit! I just hope that they do it the right way and they don't go overboard. Definitely going to be a lot of street level fights especially with the grand finale being Captain America vs Red Hulk! The fact that it started out with Rogers vs Schmidt but now it's Wilson vs Ross is just awesome!
I'm excited AF to see Sam Wilson journey under the Captain America identity. It's gonna be very interesting to see him pushed to his limits!!! He went up against really incredible foes in the comics and his comic runs!!! It's gonna be fun af to see him stand up to Red Hulk and others in Captain America Brave New World. Also, I agree about the film feeling like themes directly inline with Winter Soldier. Hype! Also, Tiamut!!!
Just some food for thought….Everyone seems to be living in the past! But I don’t think they will repeat the Winter Soldier story! I think, Isaiah sees the people who tortured him and sees that something’s wrong, and being a hero he attacks! I also think (at least hope) that he’ll have a bigger role than just that scene!!! I’m hyped!!!
I love Sam as Captain America! It's funny that people didn't say that about Iron Man, he doesn't have enhanced abilities and he saved the whole world in endgame.
