EP 40: X.F. Yaj Ceeb Vaj (Yang Vang) Interview | Tham Pem Nrog Pat NiamVammab (Australia)

On episode 40, we have the privilege of sitting down with Hmong Cultural Practitioner, Ritual Expert and Educator XF Yaj Ceeb Vaj.
Born in Ban Vinai Refugee Camp, Yang has been a shaman since the age of 5 years old and known collectively as Menyuam Thaiv Ua Neeb. He came to America at the age of 11 years old and was already an adult shaman. He was born with a god given talent to become a Shaman, curious about spirituality and learning from his Father who was also a Shaman.
Yang has over 20 years of professional experience teaching and training students in Hmong Language and Cultural Practices. He has implemented educational programs and studies with accredited Universities domestically and internationally. He is devoted to lifelong learning, specifically in personal development and leadership.
Yang is also a Professor and teaches at the Department of Center for Language Studies, Brigham Young University.
Yang is one of the most highly sought after spiritual practitioners to perform funeral rituals in America and one of the youngest experts with extensive knowledge of funeral rituals. He is 37 years old and married with 6 children.
