This place, deep inside the French countryside, has remained concealed from the human eye for years.
It was once the residence of a military police officer named Mr. Roger. Where he is now, and why this house was once abandoned in the first place, remains a great mystery to us. But one thing is obvious: all her belongings were left behind, including something we've never seen before.

Not flint lock rifles, but ball, and cap. The cap was like a primer. The house was in remarkable shape, but why were the clocks so tall? My favorite part was the canes.

I think the item at 25:48 is a scepter not a walking cane. At 41:00, that is crystal pyrite or fools gold, we have a lot of it here in Canada. The architecture in this house and the artifacts that were collected are absolutely wonderful. I love the stone walls downstairs and the beams throughout the house. Very nice video.

What a shame that no relative's came forward to reclaim these antiques or anything in the home. Some maybe donated to a local museum as a historical antique items. The house is still in immaculate condition and glad to see no vandalism has occurred and not thefts. Someone needs to find out the next of kin to take over before it's to late. Especially with all those weapons/rifles

Roger was een verzamelaar.... en geen klein beetje. Prachtige spullen, van wandelstokken en ceremoniële stoffen, tot carbide lampen etc etc etc.... zonde om dit gewoon te laten weg teren, net zoals het Prachtige huis, ongelofelijk deze vondst.... de jachtgeweren kunnen van mechelse makelij zijn, oud, gegraveerd, en natuurlijk van Franse bodem zelf ook. Prachtig dude's.

This home is so pristine I thought you were pulling our leg and it was a set up! I didn’t believe this was truly abandoned until I saw the vine growing inside and the cobwebs on the fire place. Amazing collection of memories and amazing find! Thank you.

Yey!!! Finally an adventure with Remon 😍 I miss him, indeed 😌 Guys, i can't find the right words to describe how beautiful is every single detail in this amazing house, or museum i should say! Yeah yeah, that's not a house, if i would give it its right, i should call it a museum 😍 The house itself is sooo pretty, i like stone houses. And every single detail, every old wood furniture, every piece of decoration in it is AMAZING!!! I love old stuff u know me, and this video made me so happy and excited while watching it! And you too i guess, i know u love antiques like me hehe. For real everything old is way better! Modern houses are nice and aesthetic and everything, but the old have their own beauty! I really love how they used to live back in the days!! Sometimes i say i hate technology, i wish i can live back in the days and write with feather and ink, and when i saw them in the video i was like " 🤤😍 " hahah! I would like to have them as a decoration in my future house, actually i would like to have my house filled of everything antique 😍😍😍 Well this house would be my deam house. I like all what they collected, all the vintage jars and the decorations! It is a cozy home and a cute one. Maybe one of your best finds if not the best one 😋 So sad now it's left behind and maybe as u said it's gone already, but at least we got the chance to see it's amazing beauty through your amazing camera! And speaking about cameras, that vintage camera is so dang COOL!!!! Not to forgot every other single item they collected, just wow! I felt your excitement in this video, i wish you were able to feel mine while watching it, or maybe u will be able to feel i while reading this comment haha 😆 Honestly i had more words and feelings to express while watching but now they are all gone because of the excitement, i don't know what to say anymore, even though i already said too much, but i just feel that i should say more 😂 That's how much i love old stuff. Думаете этот дом 🏡 заброшен ? Как постанови выглядеть , пыли мало , на кухне на полу миска с молоком видимо для кошки , так же в туалете лоток … в спальне вообще пыли нет … постановка … выключили везде свет и рассматривали то что хозяева разрешили , а что нет то на ключ закрыты дверки

Ahora como usted dicen esta casa realmente está a otro nivel, super bien conservada, en algunos muebles ni siquiera se ve polvo en las superficies, la habitación del segundo piso que está desordenada es porque la usaron para almacenar, pero en general está impecable, me alegra ver que no ha sido saqueada.
Todos los objetos decorativos, las antigüedades y muebles son hermosos. Estoy esperando leer los comentarios de los amigos que saben de antigüedades, para tener más información sobre esos objetos.

I hope the beautiful furniture and crystal ware has been preserved and found a good new home somewhere. Those grandfather clocks were stunningly beautiful and I have a great passion for clocks like that and they don’t make them like that anymore. Absolutely Beautiful! A Million? The clocks alone are worth hundreds of thousands & the hunting rifles/shotguns are Priceless! In addition, would be my guess they traveled to many different countries & that's where they acquired the African statues & a lot of the other Beautiful carved pieces.. It is unlawful entry and trespassing. Someday they will grow up and realize they could be arrested at any time on one of their international adventures into someone else's properties.

I'm not a thief, but how the hell can you two go through a house like this and not put anything in your pockets. Also how the hell can anyone leave thousands of dollars in property left to rot? If anything sale it and give it to charity.
😂 fact is, the owner disappeared and naturally someone or many will take over and who can really care all the personal valuables 😢
I would have bought it as is, it was so wire tight there is very little dust. Very well made house, I love the stone.

49:30 - Would've been cool to see what was in that old trunk!!!!!!!! Probably the officer's uniform you were hoping to find! I know when I grew up, we had a huge trunk like that in our basement and it was used for old old clothes and my father's U.S. Navy uniform.

Flint lock rifles from the French Revolution were & are some of the most expensive collectable guns depending on the manufacturer. I dont get how you can enter a home without consent, if you are caught in Australia where I am you would be thrown in Jail. But its great we get to see this even if the owner allows you in. Im just curious, not trying to be negative, if the owner or whoever inherited the property sees you in it online, the evidence is right there to charge you as there is no differentiation between explorer and burglar even if you dont take anything.
Outstanding time-capsule! 👏 Such shotguns were used in World War I. Some of them are definatly older. Don't even want to know what they're worth today. The art collection in the house is just as remarkable. 🤣🤣 He looks like the Gendarme of Saint Tropez with this hat! 🤣🤣

Such an awesome place with so many treasures! I hope someone gets some of the treasures to a museum! Solid structure it seems. Someone needs to save it and share the treasures with the world.
That "wine barrel" with the crank attachment may have been an ice cream maker. You would put chunks of ice and salt into the main part, and there would be a separate container inside that would hold the cream/sugar/flavoring part. I could be wrong because I couldn't see the insides.

Any high ranking military officers will naturally have more than one home. Some in other countries. This is likely l a hunting lodge & not abandoned.

The rock you were handling was pyrite; it was very common in the place where I grew up. It's part of the Cambrian shield.
Oh, there was so much stuff I would have loved to have owned. I'm always baffled by these abandoned homes that are doubly abandoned by family members. It's a crying shame.

This man was a military policeman called "gendarme". He was an incredible colector of antiquities. GG for him to reach a so huge treasure and for you to find it and share it, I only hope that all will rest in peace.

Спасибо за интересное видео , но мне кажется, что дом вовсе не заброшен, а просто оставлен на время. Уж больно хорошо сохранились вещи, а на многих и пыли нет, явно кто-то за ним приглядывает. Мне лично очень понравился дом и его наполнение вещами, порой редкими.

It's a beautiful house... But someone certainly "staged" it for photography.
Especially the firearms, because no one who knows about and cares for rifles of that quality would ever stand and lean them against a wall in that fashion... They're too fragile to risk letting them slide and fall to the floor from such a precarious position.
