In this video I am with my great nephew Samuel who is visiting from Montana. We are on a great little pond chasing Bass and have a really good morning.
@@OldLadyAngler Thanks Tracy, the spinnerbait really rules in this pond for sure …..and when the bite gets tough, that little Perch lure helps get er done as well.
The water was perfect when you first started your video. Spinner bait for the win, but that Perch you painted was F-I-R-E. That thing was barely wet before you had a fish on. It must give you a great feeling knowing you created that lure and fish love it. Great video, as always.
@@heidi2597 Thanks Heidi ! That “Beest Mode” Spinnerbait is awesome, I think the copper blades real set it apart from any other Spinnerbait that I have thrown. Catching fish on my Perch lure definitely is very gratifying and the thing just keeps selling out down at Bobby’s shop, which is pretty cool as well. Gotta paint up 8 more today. 😁

He’s such a great kid living thru the kind of physical adversity that would knock most grown people on their asses but he smiles and deals with it and he is such an inspiration to me. I wish I could have kept him here longer but right now he is camping on some high country lake that they had to get to on horseback in Wyoming , catching monster trout. Hopefully next summer I’ll be up there with them.
You and Samuel had a pretty great day. My favorite moment was when you started to tell the story about meeting Ethan and that bass hit so hard. Loved that! Always fun to watch you get out on that still early morning water Don. Catch you later my friend!
@@JumbleTronChannel Thanks Ryan it was so fun having Samuel here with me for the week, we fished hard and the kid wore me out but I didn’t bring him here all the way from Montana to sit around…lol ! We fished rain or shine every day and he had so much fun chasing bass, a species that he can’t really chase locally in Montana. Thanks for coming along as always ✌️

@@FitzYakin That Spinnerbait with the copper blades is awesome, a guy in the club makes em and I ordered 8 more from him so I should be stocked up for a good long time. My Perch lure is also rocking it, both on the water for me… it has now caught 4 species but also down at Bobby’s shop, I think he has now sold 8 of them and I just painted up 8 more….no complaints about that Hahaha ! Our day on the St. Lawrence was a boat trip with my life long friend Max with the intention to catch a mess of Perch for a fish fry….. and we ate good ! The Grasse River trip was an awesome 8 hour day with some on and off rain but we ain’t made of sugar and we nailed em. Getting ready to edit that footage right now. Half the fun of recording these outings is going back thru the footage and editing …. Warning ⚠️ it might be a long one. 😬😉
@@134rwa it was a great feeling , he doesn’t have a lot of Bass fishing available to him in his part of Montana. Next summer we will hopefully get over his way and I will have him guide me to some Montana Trout fishing. That “Beest Mode” Spinnerbait is awesome.

Good outing. I switched to a trout type net from bass pro. White river brand. Hooks don't get tangled.
