Justin Timberlake completely turned around my impressions of him by his stints on SNL. He was not just a BoyBand phenom. His SNL appearances showed that he did not take himself too seriously and had comedic chops. A well-earned five timers membership.
Totally agree! Just dismissed him as a BoyBand jagoff, but now consider him one of the most talented people to ever appear on SNL, easily showing up many of the other veteran cast members and stars.
I knew he was humble in that the first three movie appearances he had as far as I know he played a total wuss, a loving bf with some deep set issues that kinda make him a total wuss, and a hilarious French douche, and I just knew this guy doesn't take himself seriously and he really ya know tries, and that was great to see. I could be wrong maybe that was just the first times I saw him act and I have no idea what order those roles came out or were filmed btw.
I gained respect for Justin Timberlake and his abilities after seeing this. It's great to see him acting, his comedic chops, and that he doesn't take himself to seriously!

He meant 11 consecutive seasons, from Season 15 through 25. His 12th time hosting was during Season 27. Unfortunately, Goodman's longest streak of consecutive calendar years hosting was 10 (1992-2001).
hahah it strikes me like Martin Short is everybody's friend , i mean look at chevy chase face when he pronounce ordoubs or whatever he meant, he cant hold the laugh, and well he goes on vacation wit steve martine, he has stories with tom hanks etc. he gets along with all of them.
And you can see him cracking up at the very end when Martin cleans his hands at his jacket. I think they both like each other much, because they have kind of a same style of humour.

You'd think that two geniuses like Hanks and Akroyd could make a better movie than "Dragnet." It was so cornball, almost unwatchable. Besides the script being a piece of crap, I think their chemistry was off. It's not like they can't be great in that genre. Look at Hanks in "Turner and Hooch." And Akroyd kills in "Gross Point Blank. They shoulda acted like the Dragnet t.v. show: robotic, stiff, and full of shit. Akroyd had the uptight asshole part down, but Hanks was too new-age. He should have been more like what's his name, police groupee, monotone rapid talking Jack Webb.
Common now, not only is Dan a blues brother and a Ghostbusters and Roman from the Great outdoors but as an original cast he did the BASSomatic BLENDER AD! And there's an ad for I think Buick that is hilarious but I'm not finding it on TH-cam right now.
