I saw a video on the history of the Atchafalaya and they removed all the massive log jams and such to make it navigable and the unintended consequence was the water then took the path of least resistance.
Nice very cool to see... It's been awhile since I've been down that far last time was taking barges down for Katrina... Keep the Faith Brothers have fun and enjoy your trip down river ....
I flew into St. Louis under the Sturgeon Blue Moon. I do a LOT of skywatching. What I have never done is watch the incredible moving light show of the moon reflected off of the many rivers, lakes and wetlands that make up so much of the state as I fly over it. It was so delightful and ephemeral. It made me think of you two, down there by the water, seeing it from a different perspective. Thanks for making such delighful videos that I am thinking of them often!
Dawn is a magical time no matter the location. I prefer Daytona Speedway on the last sunday in January.
If you could paddle at night, you wouldn't see much.
