Heck I would have told my kayak in and I would have went down with you until at least Cape Girardeau Missouri... But now you know somebody else who lives in St Louis Missouri... The day after i met yall on the sandbar i caught a decent size bull shark on a jug! I went a little ways up the river and threw the jugs and let them drift with longer strings

I flew into St. Louis under the Sturgeon Blue Moon. I do a LOT of skywatching. What I have never done is watch the incredible moving light show of the moon reflected off of the many rivers, lakes and wetlands that make up so much of the state as I fly over it. It was so delightful and ephemeral. It made me think of you two, down there by the water, seeing it from a different perspective. Thanks for making such delighful videos that I am thinking of them often!

Nice to see US Corps of Engineers is able to stop an advancing glacier with there nice pieces of concert. Won't paddle at night but do enjoy the moonlight. Stay safe

I saw a video on the history of the Atchafalaya and they removed all the massive log jams and such to make it navigable and the unintended consequence was the water then took the path of least resistance.

This episode reminds me of a friend as we neared the end of the Appalachian Trail. He was always filthy dirty, his old pants had ripped so he had to buy the only sized pants small enough to fit him at a local outfitter, which were still to big for him. He had no belt so he used string. He had lost one glove so he wore his remaining glove on one hand at a time. A mouse had chewed around his backpacks zipper so it wouldn’t shut so he was forced to use a bungee cord to keep his things in his backpack. His shoes were literally falling apart and held together by duct tape. Everything that could go wrong did. Lmao
