  • This time we have Honda's candidate for the affordable entry level compact sedan market in Singapore. Julian puts the brand new Honda City 1.5 RS to the test to see how it stacks up against similar offerings by its other Japanese rivals. With styling borrowed from some illustrious cars and plenty of space all around, this might just be the top dog in the budget segment.

Honda Jazz RS 1.5 CVT (sold by Kah Motor) is better. It is 128bhp and 155 Nm. Can hit 100km/h under 10 seconds (9.6s) Not bad for a Cat A car. And its about the same price as the City RS.

i bought this car in Thailand 1.0 L Turbo engine(in Thai Version)
this CITY expensive than competitor, look reliability
Overall i’m fall in love from fuel economy, good in highway, suspension well (enough for normal driving) but higher maintenance cost (compare with 1.5L N/A old ver.)

How is the Perodua Bezza one of the contenders. In Malaysia, The Bezza is one of the most affordable cars and is definitely not on par with the City.

Honda City Variant in Malaysia is Slightly different from SG variant.. Honda City 1.5 V 2020 (Premium Spec) got 60:40 rear seat folding down. And 1.5 RS is e:hev with i-MMD hybrid e-power

The sound of you opening the door sounds good too at 6:52 in fact, I have driven the 4th gen (I don't know what gen, before this new one) for a few days overseas and felt it's actually good for the price (cheaper than this gen). It definitely drive better than the more expensive i30-HB, the pick up is better (surprisingly) and also the handling wins hands down against the fellow H-brother, Hyundai
