- Russian troops claim that they have destroyed an arms depot in Ukraine's Donetsk region. After the destruction of a large amount of weapons, Russians have also seized foreign-made arms. In a video released by the Russian Defence Ministry, Putin's men can be seen flaunting 'trophies' seized during ongoing fighting in the war-ravaged country. Currently, there is intense fighting going on in the Donetsk region which is under Russian control and Ukraine is fighting hard to take it back. He calmly took it out from the case and examined it. He showed NO menace, anger or excitement when looking at the weapon. People might want to see how Ukrainian forces reacted to weapons seized from Russian forces. Zelensky himself could not hide his excitement that he mocked the Russians for being Ukraine's arms supplier.

No, there is no ammo. American weapons are designed that if you try to open and reverse engineer then it gets disabled. If you buy US equipment then you also have to get US servicing contracts to properly open and maintain it. I am sure USSR got a lot of US weapons in Afghanistan during the 80s as well.
