- I want to show everyone that the Ta 152 H1, its a beast at high altitude, but I wanted to show everyone couple of maneuvers which I learnt off youtubers #Broman #adam514 . all i did was combined 2 moves that these you-tubers does in game. If anyones at high altitude against a turn fighter, this guide will show you how to deal with them :)

sim in WT is more arcade than RB. He should try BoS or DCS. WT is shit in sim AF :D and iam pretty sure, he would be very good pilot in these sims after few hours spent in cockpit without markers.

@@honzavasicek Not sure what you mean by it being more arcade. Instructor turned off and no 3rd person view makes it less arcade than RB. Other than that there are really no other differences.
Great video, that is a nice trick to use, i'll have to remember that one. I love seeing premiums getting blown out of the sky. I love seeing spitfires getting blown out of the sky. And you got both in one plane!

hahah, i dove away, and prepared for another set up on that spitfire...had 2 team mates, they died...so I didn't want to be that guy whos at 8000 meters...dragging them game...so I landed :P

Spiral climb would have honestly been more effective. The difference in power between the two of you is ridiculous.... On top of that, the lack of airflow at that altitude makes him pretty ineffective. Merlin spits don't belong that high, period.
i tried that in a p47 N at high alt against a spit...he came pretty damn close to me, so decided to do this instead :)
Yeah I don't have the balls to pull that move in the 47N. It doesn't feel very powerful, not like the M or the Ta's

You should have performed the dreaded Cobra Maneuver, or maybe a Crazy Ivan. A Triple Sow Cow would've worked best tho.

As someone who is trying to grind the Ta-152H1, I envy your ability to maneuver against a Spacefire. I find the Ta to be better in the horizontal than the 190D13 and pleasant handling up high but lacking in ammo, defensive roll response at high speeds and fragile.
Its lack of its 25 meter per second climb rate like it was said to have does not help.

You do a great job describing what is going on. I lvoe that you expose your mistakes and teach us how to correct. I am sure mistakes happen more often than most are willing to admit. great video. one thing I would add is that this can be performed quite well at lower altitudes aswell as long as your plane has better speed and energy retention. I often use this tactic flying planes like the typhoon/tempest/f6f/ki-61

And yes to mee to it seams german guns are nerf in muzzle velociti diparment, eaven Mk 103 seams slower then they use to be not to mention Mk 151.
Yes i do remeber days when killing spits in headon with Fw190 D was easy busines now it is a rare thing to do.
I feel the same, i remember the german guns could hit enemies at 1km+....now days its so rare

But not to be meen to soviets, their 20mm guns seem slower too, japan too, only 20mm guns that keept same feel of velocity is brit hispano (to me).
Great video fury, i like how metodicly you explain what you do and why, eaven old wt horse like me can learn some tweaks and detail from your videos.
I pey especial attention to your speed and distance frim enemy, when to extend, when tu turn to them, how much speed you kept aftet turn and details like that and on that note thanks for that.
Same feelings here. I had problems with mg151s because I have been using stealth belt forever. Then I switched to air target belt and realized they seem to be way slower than what I remember. So that day I constantly tell myself: aim these guns like aiming MI108s. Then voila. Things get insta kills in front of my guns. I would recommend you to try out a belt with tracer to help you relearn the handling.
And of course. Shame on gaijin. Their families and they cow for not mentioning the change.

Why I don't play war thunder anymore:
1) Spitfires especially LF (Low Fighter) and naval American fighters outperform a Ta152H-1 in an altitude of 6kms and above.
2)The Ta152H-1 is underperforming.
Pericles Viglis It’s not underperforming... It is currently running the best settings it ever ran IRL and it matches well with historical performance graphs. Do you have any numbers to back up that extraordinary claim that it is “underperforming?”

@Perciles Viglis @dogness Ta 152 isn't underperforming, just gaijin can't properly implement boosts (MW-50 and GM-1) and Ta 152 should be faster than Spitfire F Mk IX above like 8 or 9k (when GM-1 should kick in) meters. 6km isn't all that high, really.
Funfact: GM-1 is implemented to the game as (I think) 5th supercharger gear for Ta 152H. (Which is activated above 10k or something.)

Saw your first video, and gotta tell you I learned something here, I have over 30 days gametime in rb and still I learn something from the video, shows the quality of the content the last time I really admired someone playing good was messerschmit videos, but the videos are too old, and the flight mechanics have changed drastically yours still relevant

How did you get this good? Can you recommend a plane to start from scratch with?
Its going yo be really hard to realizr the patterns and movements of the planes in battle
I play Sim only and try these moves but I get lost and lose all sense of direction

What are lf mk. IXs doing in high alt? LF means low fly.

This was exactly what I did last month, same map, same plane, only difference was I was able to reach 600kph at 7k and the spit suddenly latches on my 6. Idk where he came from but I pulled up and he followed me in the stall climb and I barely survived. We stall at 9k just a shy bit from 10k. I hammerhead the plane and boom, spitty gone.

The spit is designed for lower alt. The 152 designed specifically for high alt. Try this at low alt. lol. But great flying. Whole different game at those altitudes. Nice kill.

never played SB, i got a mate Dogeness who's decent at it, yeah..the german rounds not only sparks its evident visually, that the velocity is a lot lower than what gaijin tell us

I did it last time I flew it 4 years ago against a spitfire and it worked
That way i can try to go for the same strats and stugg
when you have to take a shit while climbing only to notice while you where afk you've reached an altitude of 7 to 8 k meters.
how can you climb that high without getting bored?
Thanks for showing us your mistakes. I probably make them too and don't even notice. The real secret though is how do you find anyone above 2000m altitude.

Probably possible but only with d12/d13. Need testing to confirm though. These dont turn too well compared to a ta152 adn you might have some trouble getting your guns on target.

yes I really feel like the velocity on these cannons has been nerfed, which is a shame because it renders them uncompetitive against the current .50 cals even though they have much higher damage output ... and the velocity wasn't even that high in the first place
Aiming with MG151/20 and other german guns isn't hard. If you think that you've led enough, aim a lil' bit more before your enemy.
Why is high jojo better than a simple turn?
Because high yoyo trades your airspeed for altitude and then you can trade it back. In a simple turn you lose airspeed and can't get it back without losing altitude as well

I've never liked the Spitfire in any of the dogfighting games I've played. Preferred the German planes like BF 109 and ME 262. Prefer zoom and boom to turn-fighting.
You would have certainly had that first kill had you waited 5 more seconds to deploy combat flaps. Good flying overall

Basically this is a slow rope-a-dope. One thing I'm learning, finally, is that you should NEVER allow your plane to stall out completely, especially when you are the one doing the chasing, which was this guy's fatal mistake (among several). Not that I mean to take anything away from what you did here. I'm nowhere near this level of skill.
pierre leonard you will get to a point where you will lead the enemy away and kill them. Just have to know what you and your fighters capable of :)

honestly. if you need telling how to kill a spitfire Lf at 8km+ with a ta, you probably need to be shown how to kill a ta at 5km and under with the Lf
That spitfire pilot was trash, he could have got you on that vertical with the 20mm, imo you got very lucky.
No ..it works alot as i do it all the time. It's not just about pilot ability. It's simply the out put of power from engines at that altitude

@@sb17899: No! a pointed comment. The Ta152 is a overhyped wet dream. The only time they clashed with Spitfires, both were shot down for no losses to the Spitfires. There is bullshit about them supposedly shooting down a handful of Russian fighters in a clash. An often reported episode that's bandied about in books. but the German pilot who was involved said they weren't flying the Ta152 at that time, they were Fw190-D's.

The noted destruction of a Tempest is also flagged up (mainly skipping over the fact that a Ta152 was also shot down in the same clash) and that the two Tempests were bounced whilst engaged in ground strafing thus at a huge disadvantage is another point overlooked by the 'fans'. if you or anyone could point me to credible, in-service performance data, I would be forever grateful (as would many others)
For a rare aircraft (only about 50-odd were delivered) that hardly saw any combat, its 'combat' record was nothing special.
@Ben Dover If you say so. But the TA152 was still an overhyped piece of Nazi rubbish that did nothing but waste resources and burned up its engines. I have seen absolutely no evidence of the Uberwaffe power-glider being anything special. Perhaps you have evidence of the combat successes of the TA152 other than the 'iffy' shooting down of a Tempest V that was bounced whilst it was engaged in attacking ground targets. And apart from that, what was the performance data used for that sim and was that data accurate?
The TA152 was designed to shoot down the 'projected use of' B29s by the USAAF.
This type of Luftwaffe 'hypercrap' puts me in mind of the He219 and the rubbish spouted about that uber 'Mosquito Killer'.
As for flight sims. They can't replicate the different flying characteristics of aircraft of the same type (They were not clones} or the effects that the environment had on them. And most of all, the skill of the pilot, If he has an off day, Does the sim replicate a rough engine? stuck undercarriage etc? Do you 'flyboy simmers' get to feel the effects of aerial combat, with blackouts, disorientation, negative/positive 'G' where your arms feel like lead, whilst sitting on your sofa?
Perhaps fighting a ground battle in a combat sim is realistic?
You are kidding yourself if you think that these air-combat sims are accurate.
