I was always the student in school who had the reallllllly organized locker! So doing a locker organization video was so exciting for me! In this video I show you how to organize your locker (and some decorating ideas) for going back to school!

You actually know what you're doing! I hate when beauty gurus do locker organization videos and I think they forget that we have to actually put books and binders and folders and notebooks and backpacks and coats in our locker, we don't have room to place a box of gold fish and a makeup bag etc etc. you actually realized we have to put stuff in our locker

I haven't commented on youtube in maybe ten years but there's something about this woman's sincere wish to share her home that makes me really sad anyone would post rude, horrible things about her. She's not forcing you to live like her, and if this bothers you it's probably because you're insecure and I hope you find something that brings you joy to focus on instead of this perfectly normal, sweet woman who's working hard to run a business she clearly believes in. I say GOOD FOR HER and the world needs less bullying. There's so much to fight for on this planet, you should pick on somebody powerful who's hurting the world instead. And watch something you have an actual interest in supporting or engaging with.
I totally agree! If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. She is working hard to do videos that people will enjoy and I am sure that when someone says rude things to her, it does not feel good. The fact that she is even willing to do this is amazing! Don't bully someone over the internet just because you can't see them. Don't be a cyber bully! Complament what she does do! Don't say rude things about what she doesn't!

Honestly I low key have a hoarding problem because of the way I was raised. I've been listening to your videos while getting rid of things and it's been so much motivation for me (even the ones that don't pertain to me!). Nothing else has worked in the past. Ugh, Wish I had a locker THAT big. Our lockers are half of that, And it doesnt come with shelves. My dad thinks its all wasting money, so I try my best to come up with solutions, But its kinda hard when you literally cant buy anything for it. I cant get a job since im still too young, So I cant buy my own locker materials because my dad doesnt give me an allowance either. :(
Convince your dad to get a cheap locker shelf or two to nestle your books/binders UNDER. Then in the summer use it to organize/store school supplies you're going to be using next year like binders. Even the cheaper metal ones can last you many years. Just sell the practicality of it and understand that if you DO get it it's probably a one time investment.

I put some dry erase markers in my locker so I could write on the inside of my locker and it worked really great but about half way through the school year the principal saw me writing in my locker and I got in trouble and even through I assured and showed the principal that the marker came off I had to erase everything I'd written and take the markers home. Not a great idea if you have strict authority like me..
He really cannot stop you. It's not vandalism or anything, he's just really rude.
You could have just gotten a small white board but writing on your locker works too. Just so u couldn't get in trouble

At this point you want to use a little common sense. If rules dictate for not vandalizing property, then don't. Chalkboard marker might work. Even so this video just shows you some suggestions you don't have to use each one.

I don't know about other schools, but at mine you're not allowed to write on your actual locker. But I think if you had a mirror or magnetic whiteboard, it would be a lot easier to clean.
At the end of the school year, I was on Locker Duty. I was the one who had to clean out all the lockers in the 500s building. And let me tell you, it was not easy. The students wrote on, around, and outside of their lockers with dry-erase markers, AND IT DID NOT COME OFF. We even used window cleaner spray, and it didn't erase.
If you DO write on your actual locker, don't write nonsense words. I had to clean out a locker that said "moo" everywhere on all the walls. Erase the writing as soon as you don't need it. It just makes the end-of-the-year clean-up a lot easier.
At my school we have to clean it out ourselves and on the day before the last day of school they go around looking at EVERY locker in the school and if there is anything in there they throw it away.
Lucky me I throw away all the junk in my locker before it's a huge mess.

She probably means to bring them in to school on the first day like in your backpack or something. Also the wall decals are meant to come off easy because they are supposed to be on walls and not take off paint or wallpaper.

Command strips are life savers and are very easy to take off
Be very careful if you're using anything sticky on the walls of your locker because at the end of the year a lot of them will be very difficult to remove, trust me I know from experience. In sixth grade actually used dollar tree wall decals on my locker and they were tearing and sticking and just very difficult to remove and so I wouldn't recommend it, definitely try using magnets instead.
Tessa Dunn Yeah,magnets are great! I also would not recommend putting wallpaper on the back of the locker if you need to store a ton of stuff in your locker. Especially if it's held up by magnets. I did that and took it down because it always fell. So now I just have it just on the door.

The size of one locker in the US is twice the size than one in Ireland. Here, lockers are only used for books, not for keeping bags or coats or other things like that.
Also, we cant really personalise them.

In my School we have This thing called i Time whicH technically means we get an hour to Work on stuf and if we finished all of Our work we ca-n either Read or do something else line organise our locker or something.

I think they have paper book covers and she decorated over them. Because at my school one of our teachers made us get paper bags and bring them to school and she folded them in a certain way to cover the book to keep them from getting dirty. Mostly kids usually get cloth ones that are stretchy but she wanted to use paper ones because they don't stretch out the binding of the book

In my school there are two types of lockers. There are ones with one shelf on the top and the floor of the locker is just used as another shelf and under the shelf on top there are hooks to hang your backpack and stuff you would normally hang in a locker. The second type is where it's the same as the previous locker I talked about but there is an extra shelf under the shelf that is on the top. The sixth graders share the first locker I talked about first in between two people. The seventh graders share the second locker I talked about in between two people, and the eighth graders get the second locker I talked about and don't have to share it so they get it all to their selves.

Here in the United Kingdom, it's very unfortunate because of the fact that we need to change our lockers every school year, and if you leave your lock at your locker, they'll cut it off... and then... you'll never find your lock again, which means that you will need to buy another lock again.

The lockers in the school I work in are about half the size of the locker you have. I wish my students had a locker that big!
