  • DISCLAIMER: As you all may know the Baja race has already taken place. You also may be aware of the accident that occured. While Sean and Owen were lucky enough to walk away (this is what's most important), the Race Terra did not garner such luck. This video got lost in our uploads and we still think it is best to release it to you all to get a further look into the pre-race process. Expect a full video breakdown of the race and events from Sean soon. Thanks for watching!
You know whats great about Baja racing? Figuring out how to go faster! Join Sean on a day in the shop preparing for the NORRA 1000. Really cool. I hope everyone's alright and hopefully lessons learned will apply to the next build! Both the accident and the performance tweaks, I mean.

I bet that the last time a 196 was dynoed, anywhere, had to be 50+ years ago!

no chance that motor has ever seen a dyno until now haha. what farmer out there cares about his HP gains?

Awesome! Cutting weight is a win-win. If you also lost the power steering and swapped out the box to manual, that would save another ~20 lbs, not to mention giving back a couple more HP.
