I love how unique this is. I really encourage everyone who doesn't see it in that way to see that he's literally one. man. I want to have this pizza some day with my wife.
As a child there was an amazing pizzeria near my house that made incredible pizza. The owners sold it and for decades I couldn't get a pizza that was as good. Joe's pizza IS that good. He's brought back a part of my childhood.
Kinda of genius… you can charge more for the pizza if it’s that good and you have ZERO food waste cost.. nothing ever gets thrown out.. work for 6 a day and make a profit every day
Did you do the math? Dude makes like $50k a year in Philly after expenses. Probably lives in a dump with a roommate and no family. Will need to get a real job sometime
they actually closed for a year or two, got a new location, and he finally realized how stupid only selling 40 pizza's a day was. now its a normal restaurant.
Lets say he's charing 20$ a pizza, that's 800$ a day with no salaries to cover, just ingredients and utilities.. 30 days a month? $24,000 a month, $288,000 a year... And your sitting here on TH-cam posting comments for free
i do not think he would allow you to do this as it will sell out regardless, and its better to spread things around from a business stand point. Use your brain gamer, come on now..

dude what, he could have easily hired more people to sell double the amount. if its 9 dollars for a pizza, he makes about 10k a month, anyone would kill for even 3k a month to help him out.
Years old. This is from the Vice TV archive collection. If he opened in 2013 (according to description), and in this it was open for just over 4 years, then it was shot in 2017.
This is how I would want to run a pizza place if I had one. I do the same few fuckin pies all day. Make 40 of them, work at my own pace. Charge $30. Boom done.
@@billyyank5807 I agree, and I don't buy expensive pizza (that ends up being nonsense anyway). But people follow trends and they pay premium, so you bet I'd sell it to them for $30.
Idk how much he sells a pizza for but If he sold only 40 pizzas per day at $20 a pizza and every day he sold out, he would be grossing 24k a month. Lets say he nets half at 12k a month after all expenses. Thats great for only making 40 pizzas a day as a 1 man show. If hes able to do those numbers as a 1 man show I can only imagine what his numbers would be if he ran it fully without limitations on how many he sells per day. Dudes probably missing out on at least 30k extra in net income. But if hes happy, thats all that matters. Peace of mind is as equally as important as profits
@@ohnenamen0992 water, dough, cheese, meats, he still makes a profit of at least 15k a month. Hes making these pizzas since hes obviously making a profit and has the benefits of being self employed. Definitely beats being a corporate slave in the matrix if you ask me.
You don’t need to line up… they take reservations. Also definitely didn’t seem like they had a limited amount of pizzas - me and my friend personally ordered three 🤷🏻♂️
people take pizza way too seriously. Growing up in the northeast of the states, there's a million places that make great pizza. I'm skeptical of anyone that makes a pizza out to be some religious experience or worthy of waiting hours for.

If he has his profit and a quality life why ruin it? It's a very similar model to how small BBQ pits work...1 pig a day...pigs gone, shops closed
Quality over quantity.
Thats less overhead to pay. As long as hes making a profit. Good for him
