    I have the Honda winglets on my Africa Twin. I think they not only look better but also help a little with windblast on your shoulders. Worth a try in my opinion.

    Hi yes,on a narrow country lane, I had to squeeze between a 4+4,on my narrow faired Honda NTV650,and the hedge,the front went past,but the panniers were too,wide and I went into the hedge,hitting my left knee on a hidden obstruction, in the hedge, prob'ly a big branch or tree stump,my metal hip replacement, from a previous incident, shattered my pelvis,and the subsequent operation was worse than all the injuries put together,so,be careful with wide panniers, especially when splitting lanes,I would seriously,have a big top box,and soft rear luggage,wow awesome,being in Europe, I go to Devon/Cornwall,as many times as I can,on my Honda Fjs600,Silverwing,love it,awesome,happy riding

    Nice review , I'm one of those who found the seat to much after 90 minutes in the saddle I had to stop. The height was fine as I'm 6ft. I'm just over 15 stone...

    Got a quick shifter on my ATAS 2022. Absolutely best money spent. Quite jerky shifting from 1st to 2nd so I avoid that but up to 6th it’s seamless.

    As for hard panniers,if they are wider than the front,and they are,do not have them,i had a terrible incident, with wide panniers,and now,i can only ride a scooter,so,soft bags,every time,all the time[i strap on a large travel bag rucksack,or holdall],easy,peasy.awesome vids,thanks

    • @ontheroadadventure
      @ontheroadadventure  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    • @jeremyclifford1664
      @jeremyclifford1664 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ontheroadadventure The panniers,on my ntv650,were so much wider,than the front,of the narrow fairing,that when the front,went between the 4/4,and the hedge,the right side panniers,glanced off the 4/4,s bumper,the bike went into the left side of the road,where there was long grass,concealing,an obstacle, my left knee collided with it=broken pelvis,so never,have the back of a m/c,wider than the front,especially for splitting lanes,seriously,be careful out there n,enjoy it

    Kriega make a saddle for the standard AT. No scaffolding (frame) required. It’s a modular system that you can then add their soft bags too. It fits behind you. Wish they would make it for the ATAS. Really don’t like the scaffolding that panniers need. Haven’t tested it myself though.

      So i had a look and it does look like a really good system, however im not sure it will be compatible with the grab rails and the mount for the top box as the OS base uses a bolt thats already being used for the top box set up. Very annoying.... Theres always something eh

      They are a US brand that have just made these on the side from their usual stuff it seems but really great. Connects behind the satnav dock and has a unique key to stop theft. Basically stops the tab from disconnecting the satnav.

    • @ontheroadadventure
      @ontheroadadventure  ปีที่แล้ว

      We will be doing a full video on that very soon, we have something awesome to show you for winter kit and we won’t be suggesting thousands of pounds of top branded kit, we live in the real world and have good affordable solutions. We both currently wear Oxford mondial 2.0 Textiles which we can recommend with confidence, I always replace my textiles with more Oxford but it’s excellent kit and doesn’t cost the earth, we would rather put our money in the tank and ride. When things get colder we have Oxford base layers, heated grips and heated gloves if needed. We talk a bit about our kit in this video but will do a proper one soon with lots of tips and tricks we have learnt over the years th-cam.com/video/_8NsrjRIcV0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-4NawaD2xBucAizB
