Love this! I like to start out simple and the longer I play under the Pastor the more I like to add in interest to change up what the congregation is hearing. I will change the tempo of the riff I am using trying to match his intensity. Thanks again the new riff.❤
Beautiful and simple. Well taught. I was just helping a team member dealing with octaves in the left hand being a stretch, and dropping to fifths as an alternative, and here you are beautifully reaching 10ths!!! Love it - it does add to the sound too! My hands could reach a 9th, even with the 5th in there, but alas not a 10th. 😂😂

Dexterity isn't going to matter if your hands are just too small. It takes a fairly large hand to play that extra third. My hands are not small - I can play an add 9 easily, but that extra full step just isn't happening. A non-exclusive version would have been to tell people to move to the third, playing it a little late, instead of dismissively excluding smaller hands and blaming it on their 'dexterity'.
