I really liked arenas because it was fast and there was no rng with the loot you have. Ppl are saying it’s a shame and all, but I didn’t even realize that the community didn’t like it since it I had so much fun and it was basically the only thing I would play when on apex. Honestly same dude. I tought this mode will be balanced to and will get a proper ranked system and stay permanent. Br s are more of a side mode than tdm s. They are so random and mostly even slower

I've spent probably $1k on this game. They removed Arenas and now I will never spend money on the game again in case they ruin it more and I just abandon my heirlooms/heirloom progressions/red and gold skins. TDM is so inferior

All the maps are really cool but for 6 vs 6 l would say that Phase runner,drop off and Encore are well fitting maps for gun run or team deathmatch.Drop off,Encore and Overflow are my favourite arenas maps.
For me arenas was the gamemode that I played the most by myself it was fun getting used to apex with it and it helped me play better with bad teammates sad to see it go but I definitely understand why it’s going; had about 330 wins on it and I think about 200 something with pathfinder.
I literally went from noob level to diamond/masters level just playing arenas in 6 months. You can imagine how heartbroken I am. How do they just remove a whole gamemode
@@j.h.t6249 yeah same, It creates a bad imagine for respawn as well because instead of updating arenas they just left it out to dry while soaking all the money they could from it without investing that much time/updates to it. Sure they added a couple of maps but in reality matchmaking was horrendous and arena players had no updates since release.
With better matchmaking, I feel more people would've like it. Imo it should be included in the Mixtape playlist but if not (it most likely won't be) I'd like to see it's elements get recycled in other modes: all of it's maps for non-BR modes, maybe even copy the buy system for a Search and Destroy-type game mode.

It was actually a pretty good game mode when you're br games weren't going well it was nice to just have a refreshing mode waiting that is until it was never updated for 2 years straight. If they had updated it at least once instead of just changing the maps it wouldn't have been nearly as hated.

Drop off is the best arenas map and my favorite map in the game closely followed by party crasher... what i am going to miss the most is the weapon choice... i cannot stand the "loadouts" that they put together... i love the customization of arenas... it gives the game more strategy

HI MACRO, I was the one who said that arenas was fairly popular on console, I had more to say but my phone died. what I was going to say was that the meta on console is completely different then on pc, as on pc movement is king and more of that is going to win you pretty much every fight. However, on console, aiming is more important as a lot of the movement techniques are IMPOSSIBLE on console, making it so that console apex is way slower than pc apex. That’s why getting high kill games (along with pages and stuff) is so hard. I had almost 9k arenas kills almost 2k wins arenas was the only fun thing to me in apex personally i get that br is more popular but im super bummed. I would have bought the heirloom shards this season but if they dont bring arenas back I wont play anymore apex :(
I played Arenas more than BR back when I played, Apex BR is pretty boring to me, especially when theres no solos mode I have no interest in queuing with random teammates.

I think it’s a really stupid decision to remove arenas. The only thing apex needs to thrive again is variety. New mode is exciting but they should’ve kept arenas.
the funny thing is that on arenas Lifeline's ult is so long to drope and loot in it not good at all, and in the 16 season it will at least be fast... but who fucking cares now, THE best gamemode is being deleted

I think making a ranked version of it kinda messed it up. It got unnecessarily competitive for the type of mode it was.
Some kind of arena 2.0 mode like the one from titanfall

Arena usually started with my team trying out fun loadouts and strategies then the other team gets salty ruins the fun and forces us to start sweating

I honestly liked the artillery map sucks it was in the arenas rotation for like a season.
