for the breathing and the star i believe the game automatically makes an invisible field around the house which allow the characters to breath, it could be also similar to the earth's ozone as it prevent UVB radiation, it's also the reason why we are not being roasted to death
God this movie brings me back in time when I was 5 years old and it's still an underrated gem! The cast are fantastic! The practical effects aged like fine wine and the story is a top notch including the man who directed Ironman, Jon Favreau. That damn robot give me nightmares 🤣.
I believe Dax is the same walter as Hutchenson Walter. He mentions in the movie something like, “you have any idea how hard it was to get here? I traveled through a worm hole…” or something like that. I assume he has lived in space for a long time (similar to how robin williams lived in the jungle for 26 years) and finally realized that he could use the wormhole to time travel and intercept his younger self from wishing danny away.

I like to think that the older Walter is from another universe and has actually spent the better part of 15 years stuck in outer space after wishing his Danny away, and the game kept him alive and (Presumably) alone without Lisa as punishment for what he had done. And that after those 15 years the same board game from main universe pulled the older Walter in as a second chance to atone for his mistake, only altering his memory to make him believe he traveled through a wormhole along with giving him the astronaut gear. I also wholeheartedly believe that this game is connected to its own Multiverse, one I very much wanna see more of.
I believe the game in a way was trying to teach them a lesson, and the side plot with future Walter was the games way of teaching Walter to treasure his brother because he’s all he’s got. Second theory is that it’s much like what happens in prisoner of Azkaban. And my final theory is that the game had played through a timeline and sent Walter back through a spin in order for the game to be finished.
Derossi you seem to be the only youtube movie reviewer to give this movie a fair review. I watched like 4 others and all them seem to give this movie a bunch of backhanded compliments or complaints. I watched it myself and its pretty much like you said. A fun nostalgic movie made in simpler times :). Definitely gonna subscribe to you

He's not the same version, it has to be from an alternate universe where certain events happen slightly different. That's the only way it works
