No, he's articulated where the power will push his front end down the slope causing the front wheels to slide. He should have articulated to the right (upslope) to help hold the front end up on the slope. Plus if you get in a bind you can lower the blade and make it spin the rear of the machine down slope to keep from turning over. Have bladed 2:1 bridge approach slopes for years with 140G/H's like it was nothing. Never turned one over.
@@vmikeb1 +10k hours here on the blade, and I completely agree with you, I always articulate with the front up in slopes, it is way more safer if something goes wrong
Massive frame. If had high speed that frame can handle 1600 mph set up for hyper speed, it's so large. What's it cost to transport 135 miles. Impressive ! 👍
I would absolutely love to be a blade man. My grandpa was a top notch blade man for ADOT for 22yrs. I have always wanted to get into full on heavy equipment operation, but I don't know how to get into it. I have run tractors and various other types of equipment most of my life but I can't prove it on paper.
M series are the joysticks...the countless knows are the previous models...I see someone has called them Antlers...in Australia they're known as the piano...lol..just a bit of trivia...I like the Antler expression.
He,s having way to much fun to call that a job

1100hp of grading heaven!
The godess of power
I'm not a fan of blades, but damn that thing is badass!
That's a monster grader!
He hasn't worked slopes a lot with a blade. You always keep your front end higher than your drivers.
So he should’ve gone the opposite way

Pretty hard on that blade. Dozer with 6 way blade would be more productive.

This excellent
This is a very good example of what not to do with your machine unless you hate it.

Do these have the 2 joysticks or the countless knobs?
H Series, thus steering wheel and "Antler Rack"
Joysticks were added with the M Series.
