I built a bunch of concrete countertops and almost did a slurry mix and sealer until I seen this video. I think I'll try this on one of my extra pieces first but looks really cool!! Thanks for this!! I'll be ordering some of that epoxy from you!
Wanna do this on my concrete countertop.. Have been looking everywhere but it seems Malaysia doesn't have one contractor to do this just yet. Tried to order on ur website but it only caters delivery in US.. 😅 Finger crossed for my husband hoping he will be able to recreate this masterpiece
Hi great video. A few years ago I applied an ardex Skim coat onto MDF as counters and typed it with a sealer. I'd like to epoxy over the Skim. Can I just apply a primer then epoxy? What prep work is needed before applying the primer?
I love this concept. We are buying a house with what I believe is this countertop surface over concrete, but I don"t really like the color they chose. Can the flood coat be removed and another color poured in its place?
What could you do in place of the colored sealant layer? Can you just go in with the flood coat and colors? Can you do so over an already sealed concrete countertop? Also, I understand that the epoxy makes a food safe service does the color spray paint change that?
Do you have any recommendations for an exterior epoxy? I have a concrete countertop in our grill area that is 85% covered and gets minimal direct sun exposure. I am hoping epoxy is a good option. If not, does anyone have any recommendations of what to use?
What if my concrete is lumpy after sanding with 60 grit? It’s smooth, but not level. What can I use to level it? I already did my rapid set, I followed these steps in your video, however, it dried rigid, after sanding its lumpy and 60 grit is not removing the lumps at all.
I poured my concrete counter tops a few years ago and I just buffed with clear coat. How much do I need to sand it down? As far as a seal coat I can use the epoxy and any color I want? And how many flood coats? I have a large countertop to cover. BTW thanks this is awesome I cant wait to get started!
If you wanted your concrete to look like the Black Galaxy Granite you did over MDF, would you put the black base paint over the sealant coat, or would you paint before the sealant coat?
reminded me of Voldemort for some reason lol, breathtaking though great gob. I'm gonna make make homemade dumbbells of concrete and coat it with epoxy. Never touched epoxy but hope I don't mess up
I bought a house with epoxy over concrete countertops. I think they weren’t done quite right. I don’t think they used a bonding agent or skim coat and the epoxy is chipping on the edges and corners, especially across the front section of the sink. Is it possible to now cut out the section in front of the sink for an apron sink to avoid chipping in that area in the future? I am planning to resurface with epoxy and will need to pull up what is there. No idea what issues I will entail but at this point my biggest concern is removing the section of concrete in front of the sink without cracking or breaking what stays. Any chance of doing a video on how to do such a process? I’ve searched and searched and have not yet found a helpful video.

Hi,I have concrete kitchen cabinets for my bbq.I want to make it epoxy but the surface is not smooth and flat.what do you suggest to fix the surface first? Thanks!
Big Problem, ur Method will peeling soon, YOU MUST USE CONCRETE BONDING ADHESIVE” because concrete contain dust in the surface and easy for any paint to be peeling.

The product seems great but the technician was so unorganized and extremely sloppy. Sitting items all over the place and not cleaning his work area. Slightly unprofessional.
I love the way you show the end result first and then the process from the beginning
Need to see more concrete counter tops .

Nice. I’d have liked to see the sides and how you finished that part because I saw some drips
Can you add the link in the description please. I need this product
What would be easier?
I have tile on my countertop.
Should I remove the tile? Or should I just leave the tile and put the epoxy over it?
What could you do in place of the colored sealant layer? Can you just go in with the flood coat and colors? Can you do so over an already sealed concrete countertop? Also, I understand that the epoxy makes a food safe service does the color spray paint change that?

looks great! How well do they hold up to scratches, stains ect ?
Another winning video. Did you do the concrete? if so, is there video on how that is done?

An you go over existing countertops that already have a finish? I hate these brown finished countertops
😅
What are the difference between using the blowtorch with a natural flame and a heat gun?
Another great video👍🏾

If the concretes are already smooth. Do you have to sand it first or just prime it?
Should remake this but just clear coats
Excelent Work, I'm registered and I really like the channel, greetings from Brazil, thank you.
Hi Mike. great video again! Did ever try to cut a counter after the job is finish , or drill a hole in the counter.
Did it chip ??
cuts pretty well, i treat it like laminate counters, try to cut upside down

Great job... However u almost lost me, as I was cracking up at 8:50. Why rip off a cleaning wipe when u use the roll , lol. Good one
Great video! Got a question...can you do this to kitchen counters? Is it food grade material?
Their primary market is kitchen counters.
the spray paint you used is it also metallic ?
thanks 4 beautiful work...
at 4:30 you talk about bondo being on there. no where prior to this did you apply bondo. do I need to bondo the top prior to seal coat?
Great job!
Can I apply this to a shower floor?
hey i wanted just clear natural look on concrete counter tops?
If you wanted your concrete to look like the Black Galaxy Granite you did over MDF, would you put the black base paint over the sealant coat, or would you paint before the sealant coat?
Can I sprinkle some glitter.
Cómo consigo eso producto y cuáles son precios
Where can get the colors
I see that imperfections in the seal coat are irrelevant if you use a tinted flood coat, but what if I want a clear one?
I just did my first practice piece, and there were multiple circles throughout. Could that be from condensation in the spray paint?
Beautiful.
AWESOME!!
Thanks Bob! What other projects would you like to see us create?
How about a piece that would represent or look like a sun set or sunrise
what material do i need to do these counter tops
reminded me of Voldemort for some reason lol, breathtaking though great gob. I'm gonna make make homemade dumbbells of concrete and coat it with epoxy. Never touched epoxy but hope I don't mess up
We would love to see photos of how they turn out NA 19 and please feel free to call or email us anytime for project support. (541) 450-1976
Couldn't you use rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle instead of a blow torch?
Wow good tips! 😁
Thanks my friend!

Hi,I have concrete kitchen cabinets for my bbq.I want to make it epoxy but the surface is not smooth and flat.what do you suggest to fix the surface first?
Thanks!
Unless there is severe roughness you can just apply the epoxy as is, it will smooth itself out.. just be careful to remove all the air bubbles. :)
@@vdoxsamp7283 why can’t you pour epoxy over rough surface?
OMG 😍😍😍😍😘😘😘CONCRETE
your welcome
LOOKS GREAT!!! but how do exercise the demons trapped in epoxy before selling it? 🤣
By the way the sink in the back is getting ready for epoxy coating. LOL
Looks completely uneven, no mention on how to finish, just a lot of "cool".. or how to pour in place? Manage drips and edges?
Big Problem, ur Method will peeling soon, YOU MUST USE CONCRETE BONDING ADHESIVE” because concrete contain dust in the surface and easy for any paint to be peeling.
The concrete gets competely lost under this final layer... which is a damn shame.
Anybody else see the face at 15:24 ? Lol
