    Summary:
    1) minimize use of plastic waterbottles/cans
    2) install a reverse osmosis water filtration system (but compensate for the loss of the filtered out minerals)
    3) choose fresh over packaged food
    4) reduce consumption of canned foods and beverages (glass > cans)
    5) avoid heating food in plastics
    6) avoid nonstick pans
    7) avoid disposable paper (cups)
    8) rock/mine salts > lake salts > seasalt
    9) usa a HEPA-filter at home
    10) avoid clothes with synthetic fibers
    11) install microplastic filter in washing machine
    12) decline paper receipts

I’m a truck driver, and I can confirm that all these plastic bottles of water and other liquids are shipped in excessively hot trailers in the summertime. When people buy plastic bottled water the most. They do not ship these in temp controlled trailers because of the cost. They only ship temp sensitive foods in temp controlled trailers. The non temp controlled trailers are just large metal boxes that heat up to 20 degrees or more than the outside temps. So when it’s 100 outside it’s likely 120 or more in the trailers.
Personally, I only use glass for my water. I use my fridge filter that is changed as recommended per the manufacturer.

No one sells water in glass bottles where I live, I've looked everywhere. The tap water around here is awful, not drinking it. Now get water in plastic bottles and filter the water with Brita blue filters, also have a Zero Water filter but the water that comes out of that is also awful. Hepa filters aren't as effective as a home built box fan filter with an MERV 11 or 13 filter on it. Yes, Hepa trap more particles but they don't draw in enough air to be effective, a box filters draw in WAY more air. Plus, a hepa filter system costs over $100, home built you can do for $20 and the filters themselves are way cheaper.

microwave safe only means that the resin was dried in a kiln prior to shooting in mold. When water is removed from the plastic it won't heat up in the microwave. The microwave is a mono frequency generator & is tuned to the oxygen hydrogen bond, so having water molecules suspended in the a plastic matrix will cause them to heat when exposed to that frequency of radiation. That heat rapidly spreads into the neighboring areas. Ceramics have the same issue, sometimes mugs or bowls heat up in the microwave for the same reason, they were not fired not or hot enough to drive out the water. Water is the most common substance, but it is super wacky when you compare it to other materials. It's electric polarity causes it to be a liquid at room temp and pressure, which is bonkers when you consider that most other materials of a similar molecular weight are gasses. Take diatomic oxygen, which is almost twice the weight of water but remains a gas all the way down to single digit kelvin. Another wild water fact is that water can store more thermal energy that pretty much any substance on a per weight basis. Water surely deserves it's status on any pantheon of mystical characters. We are made of it & everyone deserves to have a source for it that is plentiful and clean. god bless.

I heard that clothing fiber blends actually increase the shedding of microplastics. 100% polyester fibers stick to each other and they shed a lot less than blended fibers that do not stick to each other well, until the 100% polyester material starts to fray through physical wear or molecular degredation, atleast. At that point, it's worse. So, cotton polyester blends actually shed more micro plastics in the short term.

I got a big glass jar with a spigot on the bottom to use for crystal light iced tea. I used to just put it in a plastic bottle and shake it to mix it up. You can also get a re-usable aluminum water bottle to take with you, but I do not have one. This may reduce my plastic intake somewhat, but it's really everywhere. I think the FDA would have to put some limits on how food is packaged to remove it from my diet.

Apparently studies have found large airborne particles making it into the blood during cardiac surgery, a stint is something that might persistently be shedding plastic directly into the arteries eventually leading to accumulation of even these larger plastic particles in your heart and brain which will likely be impossible to remove.

Our fast food culture tends to act like every problem is fixable with the flip of a switch, so they demand instant fixes for everything.
How about we prioritize and do first things first such as; fixing the food chain first and foremost.
Healthy food enables the body to better deal with environmental contaminants.
In the process of fixing the food chain, we can slowly remove plastics as a food storage option.

Pellegrino is basically distilled when compared to most German mineral water wrt Ca and Mg concentrations. I don't know about chemicals. I'd be interested to see some data on how the packaging in glass and or plastic affect the water. What is the delta between Pellegrino packaged in glass vs plastic. Good to be concerned and do the low hanging fruit things as a precaution, but having a stress response over it could be just as bad. that's my 2cents worth.
