On Friday I carve time on my calendar to watch your videos to learn and apply something new. I'd like to become a little bit more tech-savvy and I appreciate your videos. Please keep them coming 🙋🏽♀🙋🏽♀
If the person that created the meeting has a subscription, but the other person in the meeting does not have a subscription, will they still have access to the auto translation captions?
OK. This missed the most critical feature. How does the "spoken language" option work? Am I able to have participants speaking different languages to each other and relying on translated captions to put every language spoken into their own choice. For example if I am in a meeting with two others, Marie and Anna. Marie is speaking French; Anna is speaking Spanish, and I am speaking English. Will I be able to see Maries French spoken words as English captions and Anna's Spanish spoken words as English captions?
Can you turn on the CCs in different languages when the meeting was recorded?? So far, im understanding that unless the function was used during the LIVE Meeting, the captions in different languages cannot be turned on on the recording - is that correct?
I'm so confused, in some tutorials it says that when you enable real time subtitles, they become visible for everyone in the meeting, other tutorials say that real time subtitles are only visible for me. How does it really work?

What happens in the new version of Teams, which changes the language for all the people in the meeting, and the translation is no longer as clear as it was before.
New Teams, aka Teams 2.0, hasn't officially rolled out yet. The Live captions with language change will only be available in Teams Premium. There are some great features and changes coming to Teams 2.0. I will have an updated video in October of this year for the new features.
@@ChrisMenardTraining I'm on Teams 1.6. I have the option to enable captions, but not the setting to change the language the caption displays in. I went to the Caption Settings, and do not see that ability. Is this a 'standard vs premium' issue?
Hi. Nice to chat you. I want to use this ms teams translation too, but on my ms teams doesn’t show the feature like in this video. How to resolve it? Is it because my ms teams doesn’t yet upgraded? Please help to answer my question. Thank you.
2023: This feature is now buried behind a "premium" firewall subscription that you are not even allowed to buy unless your company buys it. Use google translate instead.
