  • Take your indoor cycling to the next level and bike the world at your own speed:
Dive into an immersive indoor cycling experience with our training app ’Open Road’ for PC. The app lets you take control of the speed of our cycling videos and provides a much better indoor cycling experience than with TH-cam. It is compatible with all ANT+ cycling devices including smart trainers, power meters and speed sensors. Athletes with spinning and exercise bikes without ANT+ compatibility can use the app too and enjoy riding with all the important cycling data displayed during the training session.

About the Great Coast Road - Punakaiki from Greymouth:
Great ocean views, few cars, and amazing scenery is the key words of New Zealand’s Great Coast Road. This ride is definitely a bucket list ride and touring cyclists come from all over the world to ride it. It runs from Greymouth to Westport on the wild and untamed West Coast of New Zealand’s South Island. We have split the route up in two stages. This route is the first stage which runs from Greymouth to Punakaiki. This is a varied ride shifting between flats segments, climbs, coastal scenery, inland scenery, and mountains. The ride starts on a day with perfect weather conditions. After 12 km you start to see the clear blue ocean. A few climbs on this route can be difficult (double digits gradients), but they are not very long. Altogether you climb almost 500 meters / 1600 feet. This is definitely a ride not to be missed. Your destination, Punakaiki, is a small community on the edge of Paparoa National Park and close to the popular Pancake Rocks. The ride ends at the Pororari River.

    Adding music to the ride:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is awesome. But when it comes to music opinions are very mixed. This is why we do not add music to our rides. We simply do not want to spoil your ride with music you do not like. But it is quite simple to add it yourself. Open an extra browser tab. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, TH-cam, etc…) and pick the music you like and enjoy the ride...

Drove this multiple times 30 years ago as a dumb kid and took it for granted. Now as an old man watching it in my pain cave it's fantastic. Thanks so much.

Having driven quite a few of these NZ roads on holidays over the last few years, going back over them on the Wattbike seems to make the time fly whilst keeping the fitness ticking over waiting for Spring. 😊 Thanks.

Thank you for the ride. Looks really like being there, although I'm stuck under Covid lock down in my cellar.

These are brilliant ! Probably the best V-Cycling videos on 'Tube- smooth ride, nice steady speeds.... I won't quibble about the relatively few 4K videos, because your HD ones are amazing- Many thanks for your uploads- they are definitely helping me lose (a bit of) weight!
