Your score is so beautifully naughty! 🤣 My approach didn't go as wild as yours but I like this a lot!! Can totally name this score "Clair de lunatique" 😂🌝
I loved right up front the theremin sound at the start, it hearkens back to early sci-fi and help set the scene perfectly as well us underpinning the sleeping dudes starting state. The Elfman-esque humorous section is a delight and a superb choice. Fantastic execution. The comic touch at 1:18 made me laugh. You have hit all the cues perfectly and the move from dramatic to understated and back throughout was very effective. Again I hear more influences back to early Star Trek, that 60's sci-fi strings feel at 2:00, but with modern sci-fi movie moments as well (1:50), nice blending. The ending is a hoot, and that little scratch works a charm. There is some real weight to the lower end just before that that I found especially satisfying. I honestly could not imagine this clip without this music now, its just a perfect fit. Wonderful work!
Nice job. Like the tone you took. I just finished mine and am currently mixing the cue. Mine will be more along the techno / darker side of things. But I really like what you did. Nice touch at the end with the sound cutting out when the engines cut out.
did you just expand Clair De Lune melody in the theremin intro? i heard the chords and the descending patterns was very reminiscent of Clair De Lune it almost startled me 😂. if you did take it from Clair De Lune, you could expand that bit into another different piece like some sort of Debussy Variation or something. I really like what you're doing with it! great job too on the whole scoring btw
@@friedrichgattermann you're welcome,! Also if you didn't win the contest, still a congratulation to you on finishing and releasing this composition! must've had some hard thoughts and doubts putting this together and i hope the result you'll get is well worth the entry price 🤣 good luck🤞
@@raihanaziz_ thank you! Oh yes, at first I wanted to do something completely different but after some analysis of the video footage I went for the dark comedy approach.
Hi I'm so surprised at the style! Congratulations because I really did not expect it! Composing this epic space style scoring is absolutely amazing! Excellent continuation to you and good luck for this contest! The impression of Debussy's Clair de Lune at the beginning ..? and a certain Danny Elfman feeling on a 2nd time?
@@friedrichgattermann Sure i'm in this year too for this contest ! ;-) take a look to my video too :-) I hope you will really finish in the top 3 cause your work is really impressive !! Regards !
