in fastpitch softball you have to have a certain length bat grip for your bat to be legal. i recommend sticking to the 1 dot guide, or have the grip go over the edge of the previous line but covering no dots
Idk about metal, but if your gettin a wood axe bat that comes with a grip you might as well grab a lizard skin cause the axe bat grip feels great but it doesnt last long.. atleast the flared maple didnt
Interesting. All the wood bats that've gotten with axe handles didn't come with grip pre-installed. Pretty much every metal bat (axe handle or not) should have a factory grip applied.
Might need to clarify your question... if you're asking whether or not Axe handled bats can be used universally by both right and left handed hitters, the answer is YES.
Yeah I got a axe bat before the beginning of my babe Ruth season and two games in my tape tears so I bought a mookie Betts lizard skin and had no idea how to put it on the axe handle 😂
To be honest, it's to each their own. I absolutely love Axe handles, but I know a ton of people that don't. The bat itself is great. Personally, I would love to try a one piece slow pitch axe bat, because I've actually broken two of the bats seen in this video. Granted, the big side note should be that this version of their slow pitch bat was one of their first models, so they were still working out some kinks and I think the other/newer models are much more refined. Would definitely recommend at least trying it out, but like SERIOUSLY trying it out. Many people will try it for like two to three swings and automatically not like it. Again, to each their own. Whatever makes you comfortable and confident in the box.
Scrumptious Dingo for best results, it’s recommended to remove the original/previous bat grip. But you could add lizardskins on top of the original grip if you prefer a thicker grip.
Uhmmm, not necessarily true, but possibly... I am demonstrating how the folks at Lizardskins taught/explained it to me on how to do it... and there's only one end to start from... or (which is most likely the case) it could just be my own fault of trying to regrip the bat while talking and trying to make a video. But thanks for the insight!

Does axe series have a universal bat grip knob for the end of the handle?

How well do these axe bats perform?
I am thinking about buying one
To be honest, it's to each their own. I absolutely love Axe handles, but I know a ton of people that don't. The bat itself is great. So do I remove the original tape or add on to it

That helped so much
Awesome. Thanks. Glad I could help!
Very good tutorial… not a fan of that particular color way for the skin but good job
Thanks for the compliment! Greatly appreciated. To each their own on color way choices. haha. Good thing Lizard Skins makes a ton of color options!
Very helpful
Thank you!
I appreciate it
Of course! Glad I could help!
Is this bat good for bunting?
Lolz! Unfortunately no, because Slowpitch softball doesn’t allow you to bunt. Hahahaha
The only reason it bubbles is because you started from the wrong end...

Chanterprise you’re good brother
