I amassed a large sum of nintendo gold points from buying Wii U games and used them to buy Ninja Jajamaru The Lost RPGs. I've been playing the first RPG a bit lately and I'm finding it extremely charming lol I do agree that the user experience in menus is archaic and clunky, but I like that it's very much akin to old fashion Dragon Quest games! So far, I have a party of 2, which is 1 more than I was expecting going in!
Hi again! I don't blame you, it's a rather obscure series in the West, but much like for example Kunio-Kun, Ninja Jajamaru-Kun is very popular in Japan. I won't be surprised if we see a couple more collections of such 'local heroes' finally come to the West! Planning on picking up any if these three collections though?
It's a shame the RPGs aren't included in the physical cartridge/disc. I bought the deluxe version digitally and I've come to love the series so much jn such little time that I order a physical edition of the Asia release. Would've been great if all the games came included in the physical release, for preservation purposes.
Hey there! Good thing you point that our. The review copies too have that, but only when applying the CRT filter for some reason. I can only guess that will be patched out, but definitely a miss on that front.
I also found out that with the CRT filter the music and gameplay stutter, without the CRT filter the stutter is gone. I hope that they can solve this soon because the CRT filter is the time where I come from. But still best collection ever

If you bought the collection from strictly limited games it does come with the RPGs on the cart. No idea if those are sold out at this point though.
