I really struggle with being EXTREMELY uncomfortable being HATED for being a Christian. Any suggestions for courage and ways to not let it bother me like it does? 😞
Yes, you have to love Jesus more than you struggle with being hated, and you have to love the people of this world and other believers in Jesus more than you fear being hated. It hurts to be hated and rejected, for sure, but when we love Jesus more, and when we love other people more, we will sacrifice ourselves to show love to God and to our fellow humans even if it means being hated and rejected, in return. For that is what Jesus Christ did for us. And if our lives are surrendered to the Lord and to doing his will, even if it means being hated, then the Lord will provide us with the strength and the courage that we need, if we will let him.
