Coverdale didnt sing correctly so he lost the voice. Dino on the other hand, is a musical profesor, he sings correctly, he has a range greater then coverdale, but also he can sing more things than him. Dino can sing queen, deep purple, Black sabbath, led zeppelin, but also elton john, gospel and soul music on the piano. Guy is a beast on the another level. Sorry those are the facts. The only singer that was close to his vocal possibilities was Ronnie James Dio.

Dino is unquestionably one of the best if not the best current singer of the new generation., and no rehearsal before wow !! ...BUT when I read comments that he's better than Coverdale or Hughes, please show some respect. The two legends have aged (very well for Glenn, more difficult for David) but will forever remain Rock milestones. They know how to sing and above all how to create some of the best classics anthologies on which young wolves know how to cut their teeth. Something that is sorely lacking these days. I agree totally. Dino is my favourite vocalist and composer and I'm huge fan of everything he does but there's no need for comparisons especially disrespectful ones to other vocalists. It doesn't do Dino any favours either for people to criticise people he is currently working with or may work with in the future.
Dino for me is one of the best vocalists today, full of techniques, he knows what he does. He masters drivers and melismas like no one else. I'm really in love with him, on top of all that he's still my mentor vocally speaking. His videos have helped me a lot when I'm going to sing in my HARD ROCK band, I'm inspired, I admire you and I love you! @User № you're wrong. All voices are different and different vocalists have different mic techniques. Don't quit your day job. Perhaps you could listen to him live. There are alot of factors at play. Telling me to listen to vocalists from the 80s (a period during which I spent my youth devouring music) won't change my mind. You're entitled to a personal opinion as I am to mine. I've spent my life analysing vocalists. My grandmother was a singer who sang to me since I was born. Dino has a very full voice and he has a similar technique to Ronnie Dio in his distortion. Ronnie was a master. Not to mention Dinos use of dynamics, phrasing etc. He's already developed beyond his years. That he doesn't sound the way you want him to sound is no one's problem but your own. He featured with Whitesnake (a band from the 80s lol ) among other pro's lol. No further analysis is warranted imnho. To say Dino doesn't have an expressive voice could perhaps mean you need a hearing test or some such thing. The quality of a video recording of a live plugged in performance can also be an issue at times. Something else to consider🤷
Wow, Dino is outstanding! Wish I could hear Dino together with Glenn performing "You keep on moving" or "Stormbringer". I love David Coverdale, Glenn and Dino. They are all incredible. It's absolutely amazing that everybody reacts positive to Dino stepping in for Glenn. I'm so grateful for that. I only wish Kelly Hansen would get the same respect from the Foreigner-Fans. I've seen Dino with The Dead Daisies in Oberhausen on July 31th in 2022 supporting for Judas Priest. It was really great. I was very positivly suprised - especially by his singing! All Daisies' songs - inclusive the Deep Purple songs "Mistreated" and "Burn" - he performed perfectly! Dino, keep on rockin' - you're on a very good way to become a real Rock'n'Roll Star!
You did a hell of a job filling in for Glenn, your voice was made for hard rock and metal, I sure hope one day you can put together a band that blows everyone away. I've seen you perform many times.
