Put the pi tures back to back and leave the sprue on so it stands up on its own. You just have to turn the picture around. You may have to file the sprye flat to level it.
@@danaedwards5464 yes gravity plays a big part in casting as zinc is 3 times heavier but also has a low melting temperature. So could clog the scrapings resulting in the top one only working. I would increase the depth of the print by 2mm this should help with aluminum.
I think I might give this ago with zinc in fact I have a few heat sinks and they are high zinc volume so I think that might be my next try. Thank you for watching 👍
I really like that buddy top job 👍 was that a lithograph setting on the 3d printer? And love the idea of getting sponsorship from a gas company! Now that is clever!! 😁😂
Thank you I sent some pictures to someone to print for me as I’ve not got a 3d printer yet but it is on my list 🤣 and yes the sponsor is perfect I don’t need to pay for gas so it makes this hobby much more doable. Thank you for watching
@@meltingipswich I have the printer but not braved the lithograph setting yet 🫣 I wouldn’t mind trying this with some copper, I really like this idea. Now I just need to heard the kids up for a family photo worthy of the hassle 🫣😂 thanks for sharing 👍👍
Love the mould making one of them. Nearly ready brother Al4N brother heat sinks best for casting. Been doing a lot of research as I want to get into it. Email address brother awesome episode amazing results

That’s not a bad idea. I think I’m going to try them in zinc first
Would love to see you try it again.
I might try it again with zinc as that will flow easier I think I will give it another go.
Thank you for watching
thank you for the reply do try again👍
No problem
Buen casting amigo hice eso hace algun tiempo🔥💥😉
Thank you
not bad at all for a first try wonder if zinc would work better for such a thin casting
