Water effects look WAY better than they had at CitCon. Nice. Looks fairly right / realistic.
Now drop the biggest bomb in it, thanks me later
This honestly looks incredible. It's hard to argue with actual results.
The only thing I'd criticize is the framerate you're getting on planet... It seems a bit low. I get you can disable the effects, but I'm probably near your system specs (4090, DDR5, etc.) and SC has always felt like it needed better FPS optimization. I hope this doesn't make it worse.
Hey ! I have a I7 8700K and a RTX 2080.
I'm also running the game on a 21:9 screen.
This resolution 3440x1440 takes a lot of ressources. But the low FPS is due to the current state of the build. We also hope in the futur to have Vulcan implemented to get better performance.
OH MAN i can't wait to play this patch ! :) thanks for showing us
I mean, I like beefy sounds. But with a light fighter sounding this way, thCaterpillar with his humonguous engines better sound like a Mofo earthquake...
I will melt with joy if the caterpillar sounds like an earthquake, that thing looks beefy, make it sound beefy
RIP FPS :/
The Tesla acceleration looks sick, do all ships do that?
What do you call "The Tesla acceleration"?
This is on the Testing Server? Release when? 🙂
Yes it's on the EPTU server. We don't know yet the released date. There is still lot of performance issue with the new build.
За 5 минут показал больше чем буржуи в часовых видео. Спасибо.
The gladius sounds BEEFY now
I can see the option to update
Looks great, but...
is this going to run smoothly?
Phys Effects sap processing power.
Hey. You can disable those water Fx. Same for clouds.
@@NotGemini Ah, thanks. That's good to know.
Knew about the clouds.
I wonder if you could add FSR 3 frame generation now that they've added upscaling
This is still DLSS 2.0, so no frame gen yet. 3.0 might be added in a future patch along with RTX
I'm not sure whether the upscaling works at all... Especially since it still uses dx11 which as far as I know doesn't even support it.
And there is no performance increase by turning it on for as well...
It's probably made to work once Vulcan is active
Why does minecraft have more tree variety than SC
Amazig!
FPS and Specs?
It's a test patch. The persitent universe is in bad state for now. (15fps). In general (30-60 FPS) depending the location.

@@NotGeminiwhat if you had 3070 5800x and 32bg ram
@@khyleebrahh7 then you should be fine
Wouldn't worry about it the ptu is horrible - even for those with 4090 and latest amd its sub 40fps
I’m running a 4080 and 13900k and getting 34fps at orison. And 67 fps in space with nothing around on the PTU. Live I’m at 170+ in space and 70-90 at orison
